Monday

Hello people. Today's monday, and school's over. Nothing much fascinating. Anyway, school started as usual, except we had ss for first period. Hehehe, so fun. So well, she didn't call me to answer her "rules if i had a society" thingie. So we spent like 15 minutes on that, and then after that she split us up into different groups and we were supposed to be like assigned a "society" la. So our group was assigned "stone-age" society. Haha, and we were supposed to like list down stuff about that society, and then next week, we would have to act out the skit. So the remaining time was spent like talking about what we would do blah di blah. Then suddenly I realized that I wouldn't be here next monday! Haha! So can miss the skit, though I still have to bring a giant banada leaf. See the thing is, that brilliant Sylvester had this idea to strip naked and use a leaf to cover our private parts. So well, haha! I don't have that many banana leaves, so well, only can bring one. And one leaf is already so gigantic, so ya, he agreed to wear it =P And like i said, i'm not in singapore. Haha! I probably have to bring the leaf someday this week, bleaugh. Bet my maid will grumble. Imagine the amount of food the banana plant will be deprived off. So anyway, while we were busy discussing, I had left my notbook open to the page which i wrote my "rules" la. Then ms sim happened to walk by and read them. And guess what, I just wrote one rule for fun which was "8. No Ms Sim". And I had to stupidly leave it open and let her read it. Bangs head on table. So she shouted out loud "Who's book is this?!" Then that Yong Jing straight away go say it's mine, then before I could understand what was going on, she used it to bash it on my leg. Haha! So wasn't really painful, but very funny actually. Bleaugh. So yar lor. Then next was Biology I think, haha. Also rather funny. Because Jocelyn was like "Ei boys are you all ready ah?" Then sylvester and Zhuang Yi were like "ah.." Then she was like "Ei, if you all want to imitate me ah, must do a better job right?" Then whole class started laughing la, then they all start asking me to imitate her. Because apparantly when i imitate her, i sound just like her. Haha! So also quite funny, though didn't really understand much about viruses and funggi (as she pronounces it). Then came boring old english, it was seriously boring. Was like smsing jevon half the time, and well, fooling around with my and Tze Wei's phone's bluetooth. Finally somehow, Ms Quah managed to finish what she wanted like before recess ended (suprise suprise! So 2H really was bad then..). So she let us off for early recess la, smsed jevon to cancel meeting him outside classroom =P, and went down to canteen to quickly buy chicken rice before the queue formed. Hehe, then after eating right, since I ended at like 11.15 right, so went with Yh up to the staffroom there la, as in, via the clock tower staircase. So we went to tap on ms quah's window there, and she came out, passed me some worksheet and asked me to take class list to pass to this other guy. Then exactly jacq sim walked out, and I was like "hello ms sim!!!" Then she glanced at me and immediately went like "oh god.." and shaked her head. It was simply hilarious la! Because I always meet her along the staffroom corridor. Haha! Then later on after talking to Ms quah, I walked towards staffroom 2, and then yh went toilet, so while waiting for him, she came out la. So i was like "hello ms sim!!!" again. Then she turned around, and walked back into staffroom 2 and was like "i didn't turn around because of you! I forgot something" So funny! haha. Went back to class, collected chem stuff and went down the steps, and guess who i met?! Jacq sim again! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahah! So said hi, and she pointed an accusing finger at me, haha! Ya, then walked down for chemistry.

So then chemistry was in the lab. Haha! Also quite funny, coz I happened to understand her better, and since 3F was like there on time, and 3B was like 10 minutes late, so we had tons of time to read through the lab ex worksheet and see what we were supposed to do that day la. So like while she was explaining, I already formed in my mind what i intended to do, so when she said can start, then I do do do, then like was the first lah. So while everyone was busy still doing their exp, I had already done it and left it to rest there while i did the ws. So she said to me "I like this kind of students, what's your name? (i said my name) Because these are steady students, and can do their lab work very fast." So I was like "oookkkk..." Haha. So yay! Then after that, was first to finish, and she was like "I want to show your piece to the class" Well she didnt' in the end la, because everyone's result was rather like mine so.. And in the end, we ended like very fast, haha, the non-advanced class was opposite ours, and I could like see sylvester when i looked through everyone's heads. So they started earlier, because their teacher informed them about the lab thing. But we ended up ending earlier than them, dunno why. Ya, so then it was physics. Went to class, realized it was lab, and came allll the way back down, and had to go up to 2nd level again. Lame. They should just connect senior and science block together la. Then physics exp wasn't very exciting, nothing much.. Just that she let us off at like 1.45, because we were late. Ya, so rushed to RJ for lunch with tze wei, yong jing and eugene (ho, not neo). I only at an apple crumble and drank a milo, which was totally tasteless because the stallholders don't know that milo is a suspension, and allll the sweet taste will sink to the bottom, since their machine's sooo lousy that it doesn't stir it continuously. Ya, and all the recess people'll get the nice nice milo. So anyway, the rest ate like noodes and rice la, but i didn't, so rushed back to RI, dumped bag down and went into hall for prefect's investiture. Wow, this year's one is like 10 times better than the previous years. I can't even remember it la. Haha, the poor sec 1s, don't get to see it first hand. Ya so was quite interesting, i really liked the "dance" at the end, it looked nice because the moves were really simple and well co-ordinated, considering they're soooo easy to do. But these kind of moves when done in a big group will look nice la. Then during the investiture la, like all those boring boring speeches, that Tze Wei was busy bluetoothing and seeing how many people he could find la. So i was like "Sony Ericsson bluetooth sux la.." I heard that from someone, and totally wasn't confident of it. Haha! So he told me that he could find like 6 people on his phone. Then he asked me to find la, i found 18. HAHAHA! And like majority of his were all "unknown" Mine all managed to display the names. Because apprantly my phone is some new bluetooth, which has a radius of 100 metres, his is just 10. Ya, haha! So well, today was rather exciting, and later I have training at 6pm. New racket! Haha! Then well, after investiture, went to my car, then came home, read papers, let pup pup and ppy ppy (we never managed to think of any other names) run around, then went to shower and here i am. Haha! About like 45 minutes more then i'll leave for training. Aiya heck la, late a bit nevermind one. Besides, monday is the ultra tiring one, coz i don't play any games, just train the whole time. It's fun la, coz get to try out new stuff, like chopping, or I can practice jump smash and backhand without proded people laughing at me, since I'm the most pro there. Haha! I mean seriously la, the other guy is this little primary 2, and the girl is like just joined end of last year. Dunno where all the other people disappeared to, but like i said, less people, train more. Ah wellz, so that's about it for today, I probably won't blog later, gotta do homework after training. training

Yo peeps. It's sunday already, and there's school tomorrow!!!! Wah ='( Ya so anyway, there's physics quiz tomorrow, on unit 1 and 2. Everyone, don't forget!!! Anyway, today was a rather typical Sunday. I woke up around 10, went down and realized no one was awake yet. Haha, so took kyuu, patted and stroked her while she sunned herself. Then well, brought her up to my room, let her roll around on my bed, then 10.30 went back down. So then parents were awake, and basically I bummed around quite a bit, didn't eat breakfast, because it was like 11am already. So then went for lunch at 12, adam hawker centre. Ate pork rib noooodles, then ya lor, came home, went online, harassed my friend to tell me who she liked =P *sniggers* So then soon it was time for me to go for training.

Well, training wasn't very bad. Won first game, and I think lost subsequent games. Haha. I played singles with that action nicholas, bleaugh, played really badly, because I was testing out this racket, which well, wasn't very good. But aiya, didn't bother to change back to my own halfway, so nevermind la, couldn't lob properly, so lost. Haha.. Reasons reasons.. But seriously, the racket didn't seem to be very good, though it was the one I had my eye on. I think after he restrung it, the tension was screwed up, so i didn't like it. So in the end bought another one which he brought only today. It's really nice, black colour. And it's supposed to be more expensive, 110, instead of the other one 95, but he charged me 95 all the same. So ya, the brand is Kason, model is errr... Errrr.. Haha! Forget liao, but basically on the kason webbie, (it's a china brand btw) it says that the one i bought is like for professionals, but the other one was for amateurs. Haha, but they felt exactly the same to me, just like the tension thingie la. And the one i bought apparantly is more suitable for higher tensions, whereas the other one is more for lower tensions. Ya, so I guess this racket is better la. Anyway, the bottom part is really cool, u know like rackets the bottom, usually put the racket brand right? Mine is like holographic red la, with a black "K" there. But the red is like ruby kind of red, shining type... Ya, damn cool! Haha. So very happy now..

Anyway, dad had to fetch me today, because my aunty sold her car already, so she couldn't fetch me. She'll only get her new car like 20 something of feb. Ok, so after training, dad and I went to cold storage, bought steak, and groceries, including instant noodles for bringing to Japan. Came home, bathed and here i am! Anyway, can't believe I'm leaving for Japan this friday, so fast! Haha, at first I was thinking, week 6 is sooo far away, and seems like in no time, it's here! January is going to be over tomorrow. So fast.. Anyway, not sure if i mentioned, but CEC investiture is after CNY! Happy happy, coz i won't be missing it. Haha! Tomorrow is prefect's investiture, so assembly period is switched with last period, i.e SS. Hahaah! Jacq sim first period of the day, wake us allll up. Muahaha. So ya, I better go start doing SS homework, which is to think "What are some of your rules if you had a society?". Bleaugh. Haha! So wellz, I'll see ya guys tomorrow then =)

OBS part 3

Hey people. Ok, rather lame and late now to write about OBS, but I shall, since I've time and well, nothing better to do.

Day4

So today was the Sea Ex. We were supposed to wake up at like 6 i think, because breakfast could only be eaten at 7, since we had to eat at the Cook house. So then as usual, Hilary was late for breakfast. We were supposed to eat by 7.45, and i think like start loading stuff on the speedboat which the instructors were supposed to use, while poor us kayaked. Ya, then briefing would start at like 8.30, and we would leave at 8.45. So well, Hilary arrived at like 7.30 in the end, while we were all finishing our food. So well, there was quite a bit of confusion here and there blah di blah, and we only manage to leave the Camp 1 at 9.40, almost a whole hour later than we wanted to. So for kayaking right, Philbet sat in behind at first, then I sat in front. But philbert is hopeless at steering, and the behind guy should be the one steering la. So well, we had like tons of trouble trying to kayak. So we decided to change places la, so like got 2 boats on each side to hold our boat tight, then Philbert climed onto the kayak on the right, while i just slid from the front seat to the back, then he climed back into the front hole. So from then, we managed to kayak like 10 times faster and better. Coz behind it's like so much easier to steer, so I was the guy who steered la, then philbert just concentrate on paddling. So well, it was good, coz since we were the sea ex leaders, we had to stay in front. So then I think there was major misreading of the map, because well, basically we arrived the place where we wanted to arrive to, when we thought we had only kayaked like 1/3 of the way. So all the time, we were hurrying people up, blah di blah, when we arrived at frog island, where we were supposed to have lunch, like on time, at 1pm. So well, very happy, ate lunch, walked around the island, which is really small, watched the aeroplanes take off, because frog island is very near changi airport. Haha, irritated Kelvin by saying the model of the plane that took off. Oh ya, I also saw the A345 take off, the one to newyork. Oh wait, no, we arrived I think ahead of time, or rather the "on-time" was 12pm. Because I saw the plane take off at like 12.45. Oh no, we arrived at 12.30. Ya, i remember liao, then we left at 1.15. So ya, kayaked all way back to Camp2, had loads of fun, laughed and chatted with other kayakers. Then like at one point we also started racing with each other. Very fun! Then at one point right, the wind started blowing very hard la, so the waves started becoming very big, then we were all getting really worried. Then worst thing was, the biggest ship we had seen that day happened to cruise by.. Backwash... So then it came perpendicular to us, and only at the last moment I saw it, so i shouted at philbert to turn left to face the wave, unfortunately didn't have enough time to tell the rest. So they all were like on the verge on capsizing, because their boat was sideways to the wave, whereas ours was facing the wave. So ya, luckily no one capsized, although many were screaming their heads off. Haha. So finally it was gone, then we made our way back, and very happy, reached camp2 1 hour ahead of time, even though we left 1 hour late =P So then had to wash our kayaks and then store them in the storeroom. Phew. So it was time to go and pitch our tents la. So the Elgene went to show us the campsite, then told us that by like 8pm I think, we had to pitch tents, eat and wash up. I think it was like around 5ish then. I'm not very sure what happened, but basically we also had to pack our storeroom, made sure everything was inside la. So like our life jackets, helmets, harnesses, ponchos must be inside the storeroom. So didn't work, we I think managed to drag it all the way till like 9.30. So then Elgene was very pissed, she said that that punishment was like to unpitch tent, then go to the jungle and pitch tent without light. So ya, we really hurried, then by 10 plus, she stopped us, then told us to complete everything the next morning. So well, it was a really hurry hurry night, very busy, all the watches were also busy cleaning up, then i was supposedly the "leader" for the day, because since I was the sea ex leader mah. So ya lor, felt rather bad. Haha! So well, we went to sleep at 11, and arranged to wake up at like 5am.

Day 5

We woke up at 5am. Then hurridly unpitched our tents. Apparantly it rained through the night, then many people, coz lousy tents then went to the mph so sleep la. But of course, with me the pro tent-pitcher (hahaha!), our tent didn't get flooded. So ya, we had quite a lot of things missing in the end, then well, I shan't mention how we manage to get back all our items except for one map. Haha. So ya, unpitched tents, then went to like wash them, and then hang everything up in the storeroom, made sure everything was fine, did all the black market stuff to get back our lost items. So it was around 7am, then went to find Elgene to get soap, and green wool to wash our mesh (how to spell?) tins la. They were all full of sardin and oil, haha. So ya, washed all of them, and they smelled like soap in the end =) Ya, so after that was done, it was around like 8am. Elgene then came and talked to us. Well, we were done! Haha, so then it was administration work, like returning us our handphones and all, giving us our certificates, the photos. So then we had about an hour to shop around at the souvenir shop, I bought a mug, which is really nice btw. Haha. So that was around 10am, we had till 11 before the boats would arrive to bring us to camp 1 for the finale. So ya, sat around, started eating raisins. Big mistake. By the time I was in camp one, my stomach started making weird noises. So anyway, boats came, took the giant 60 seater one in which they squeezed 80 people. Haha. So ya, reached the place, then were asked to go to the MPH. Then Andrew Lim and the teachers were all there already la. So we were sent for lunch. Went there, the first group was already there, so we were the 2nd batch, so had to wait for seats and everything. So finally ate finish (while my stomach felt weird) then went back to the MPH to receive instructions. So ya, Andrew Lim asked for like one day IC and one guy to go kayaking to dunno do what la. So they wanted me to be the IC, so ok lor, and then Chong Min ended up being the kayaking guy. So went to receive instructions from Kennedy. So first item was us was this, er, dunno what it's called liao. Haha. Basically they make this ring on the ground, and there's number pads everywhere, and all of us are supposed to walk from around the corner, to the number pads, and cannot go in la. We have to press the numbers in order, like 1,2,3 blah di blah all the way to 22. So only one person press at a time, and only when the person has let go then the next person can press la. So the numbers are all mixed up here and there, so at first try we took like 35 seconds. So then we decided that we would each like press one number then walk back la, though some people would have to press certain numbers more than once. Like me, I was in charge of number 3, (or 4?) 13, 19 and 22 la. So i was the last person to leave the place. Because 22 mah. So in the end, managed to get it into 17.91 seconds. Counted very fast liao la! Haha. We have like 20 minutes for each activity, after which andrew lim would blow a whistle then we would have to move to another activity. So next was raft escape, where like all of us would have to squeeze onto like 3 planks of wood balanced on blocks la. So it works that if one person falls off, he will be blindfolded, if he falls off again, the person nearest to him gets blindfolded. Haha. So have to like squeeze onto 3 planks, then like pass one block forward, then squeeze onto 2 planks, and pass the last plank forward, and then like ya la, squeeze, then pass block, squeeze then pass plank. So eventually made it to the finish line on the 2nd try. First try suddenly a lot of people fell off, then like had to restart. So ya, we were the only group who managed to complete it. So proud. Haha. Then next was brain teaser, which I totally didn't take part in. Because well, the rest of the watch is all mugger, so let them do la. Then came rock climbing. Heh heh heh. I and aaron climbed la, so reached the top really quick. Came down, let Yong Jing climbed, then aaron and I decided to switch walls, I climb what he climbed the first time and he climb what i climed the first time. So anyway, his side was harder, and he managed to tie his harness faster. Coz when I first climbed, I didn't bother removing the buckles, just took them off like they were pants liddat. So some of the stuff were still clipped together, just have to tighten. So ya lor, not fair. So reached the top, then came down, then it was over. So well, we sat down, then they gave us drinks, can drinks. Haha. Then also Kennedy, yh and i think someone else went to do the Redox experiment, which was the theme of our OBS this year. Redox. Ya, so it's really cool la, they like mix a few things, then suddenly they just expand until very big. So it's meant to symbolize like if we come together, we can do great things and ya la. So I think it's a very good theme, but the symbol for it SUX big time la. haha! Ok fine, the thing written down is ok, but not the hand actions. Bleaugh. So then ya, we were supposed to "cheers" to our OBS by saying "reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..." then "DOX!" Haha. So we did that, i think 3 times? Or twice. So then it was finally time to go back! Haha. The first few watches were asked to go first, then like ours wasn't yet la. But then I think Jev and philbert were there, so I just like cut queue and went ahead there lor, then left my watch behind. haha! Heck care them la. Muahahaz. So ya, didn't manage to take the speedboat though =( But oh wellz. So we finally got onto the boat, went back, got onto the bus, and had to wait for a long time because we had to wait for the next boat to come before the bus could be filled up. They finally came, then drove back to school, called dad, and then HOME! hahaha! Reached back, immediately went to take a loooong shower. Haha. So wellz. Did i mention that I got a sore throat after the sea ex? Because of all the shouting and stuff. Yea, so home sweet home! Haha. Slept really well that night man.

Ah well! So i guess that's it for OBS. It was really a great experience, and well, not something that seemed to be crappy as my sisters all said. But I think they laxed it a lot compared to my sister's times. Haha, cons said that the purple tents were the new tents then, whereas for now right, the purple ones were the old ones, and the green were the new. Haha! Ya, so that's about it for today. Have to start my homework liao!!

friday still

Hey. It's still friday, and because I'm so freaking bored that's why i'm blogging again. Ya, so parents have just arrived home from Jakarta. Oh ya did i mention that my hp wallpaper is of my 2 sisters and parents. Very nice photo. I took it using my sister's phone's camera, during my dad's birthday dinner. Haha, nokia cameras are way better than Motorola's one. Sisters say that it's because I didn't remove the plastic thingie in front of mine. Oh well, not sure. Haha. Ya, so then bluetoothed it over, and it turned out just perfect. Pity i can't remove the "SGP-M1-3GSM" sign. It's blocking my sister's face just a bit. Anyway, happy that parents are safe and sound!

So training. Sucked. Totally. No one turned up, so only the little kiddos were there. Haha. It was so slack la, I could have just stayed at home and stoned lor. I bet if i ran 2.4, I probably would have more calaries than today's training. Muahaha. So ya, i declare today's training the most boring training ever. Haha, hope sunday's one makes up for it. Oh well, coach is having the racket which string i broke restrung, and probably will sell it to me on sunday. The rackets he showed to me today weren't very nice. I don't like heavy-headed rackets la, I prefer lighter ones. Dunno why. So wellz, basically before training right, after blogging, I went to have a short walk around the house with my dog. So we sat as the swimming pool, dangled legs inside, stroked and patted kyuu. Then finally we both got bored, and went back into the house. I went to mum's room, switched on the tv, watched mtv, and fell asleep. Haha. So like slept, wake, slept wake, finally was like 5.30, then go change lor. Lame la, shouldn't have gone. Yeah well, nothing much to say now. Tomorrow's going to be another just as boring day. Sigh, probably bug parents to bring me to lunch, or cut my hair. Hmmmm... My hair is turning awful! Haha. Friday

Hey people. Nothing much really, now that school has resumed, life has became boring yet again. Oh well, except for the few exceptions here and there. Well, first there's aaron. He's SUCH an asshole. So immature and childish and I really feel like giving him a box in the face man. He's soo annoying i tell u ah. Ok fine, let me explain. He and philbert stared mocking me today la, like saying "what's your problem?" which is apparantly my "favourite" phrase. Then they were like "aiya christopher, don't get angry ok?" that kind of totally childish behaviour. I mean, yeah, WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?! Can you just shut the FUCK up?! Is it really that fun after all?? Isn't there other ways to create "happiness" without compromising someone else's? I mean come on, the only other foolish person who's laughing with, or at you is philbert la. I'm not so much against him, but philbert, you yourself should know that this kind of stupid stuff is unnecessary, and just make people dislike you more. Ok so what if i might really use this phrase a lot? So what? And you don't have to go around saying "don't be angry" all those kind of BULLSHIT right? OBVIOUSLY i'm not happy. You think it's very nice to go around being mocked ah? I thought you were an ok person aaron, during the OBS, but now u seem to prove me wrong. Then, you were the helpful guy, who was rather sensible and stuff, but now back in the classroom, you've become your previous 2H self, childish and totally full of crap. Ok fine you're helping in terms of the class deco and stuff, but then, what's your point in doing all these teasing? I thought our class was great, you know? There's no rasicm, or name callings, maybe a bit about stanley, but that's it. Now you want to go and spoil all these peace and start this utter nonsense again? Do you know how it feels? I have gone through this in sec 1, thanks to dearest philbert, and now you want to start it again. Like Ms Sim said, you should put yourself into my position, and see it feels. Then you will know what it's like. Honestly..

Sigh ok, shan't talk about depressing stuff. Thank god he's the only bastard in class who likes to think this way. And of course philbert follows him *rolls eyes*. So anyway, today ended with a bang, because it was social studies. Jacq sim (i didn't know that her name had a "c"!!) was rather funny, though probably not as exciting as the first lesson. Ya, so we went through the worksheet on "castaway". Basically stoned till she called out "You! The psycho who always waves at me in the corridor!" So i was woken up and well, stood up and told the answer, obviously the whole class laughed, coz they were all wondering who the psycho was =P Ya, that was about the only thing in contributed to SS today. Hmm, ok flashback. This morning was quah's period first, she let us like deco the class for half a period la, coz remember last week, she took CLE period to do orals for english, so today she was making up for it. After that, we did the thingie where we wrote what we wanted (wwwwww) the class to be in the future, like a wishlist. If you've come to our class, our theme is like "under the sea". There's like fishes, jellyfishes and octopuses (how to spell?) hanging down from the celing. Then the front notice boards is covered with like starfish wallpaper, and philbert went to paste those weird frilly paper and made them look like plants, as well as roll up newspaper to look like stones. All these were stuck on the front notice board. So the back ones aren't done yet, though I think they will start on it after the side one is done. They're pasting blue paper on the side, dunno for what reason, (though since philbert is doing it maybe he wanted morrison colours!) and I'm not sure what the behind board is going to be like. So anyway, our treasurer is very efficient. He has collected 10 bucks twice from us, and already paid off our debts from the photocopy woman, so i think we have zero dollars to owe. Although since that was yesterday, we probably owe her money already. So next was maths, which passed really quickly as usual. I stress once again that Tan Mui Hong is a really good teacher! Haha, then was recess. Went with philbert and Jevon to RJ to eat. Ate an apple crumble, philbert ate his green grass flavour cake, 2 of them, and Jevon ate some rice and dunno whats-its la. Man, my memory is really bad now la, whole day always forget people's names. Hahaha. So as i was saying, after recess was chinese, which was when aaron decided he wanted to have a little fun with me. Probably coz chinese is so freaking boring, but well, he doesn't have to find fun in those ways right? So then ss, which i've already talked about.

Yeah well, so tonight there's training. About 3.45 hours more before I leave house, so dunno what to do now. Haha. Probably just sit around and stone. Hmm, any bright ideas? I'll probably go and change my blog picture as well, getting rather old. Let's see, shall remind coach to bring his rackets to let me test out. Heh, ok folks, see ya laters.

Wednesday

Hey people. Sorry ah, never blog since Sunday, haven't had the time to. So well, nothing much has been happening, just that I can't seem to sleep well every night. Like last night, I woke up like 4 times, just like wake up, toss around, then fall asleep. Well, tonight aunty's here to stay, as parents are away again, so hopefully I can sleep better, got someone to comfort me =) And anyway, happy birthday to my dad, it's his birthday today, and he went overseas. *rolls eyes* So let's see, like I said, nothing interesting has been happening. OH ya! I'm so upset that CEC investiture isn't on the 31st, that David Lu go anyhow tell me. It's actually prefects investiture la, so hopefully CEC one isn't the week after that, 7th Feb, coz i won't be in singapore. Sigh, but there's like 99% chance that it will be. So oh well, i'll probably miss it =( Anyway, I'm gonna buy a new racket!!! Ya, hopefully. I'm getting bored of my current one, don't get any kick from hitting a shot with it. Oh well, have an eye on one already, it's even lighter than my current one, which is really light already, haha. Oh yesh, and on Monday while training right, I asked to test la, then i did some smashing drill, then at the end I realized that I had broken the string. Haha. So the coach says that if i buy that one, he only has the one he was using la. So ya lor, it'll be "2nd hand" although it's still very new. But this friday when I go training, I'll see his other rackets, because Monday that day he didn't bring all. Oh wellz.

Parents also say that I can go for the New Zealand trip during June with school. This trip got all levels la, sec 1 to 4. Sigh, I wish it was more like last year's melbourne one, where there was all sec 2s, and only like 3 sec 1s? Ya, and only 30 people. This one bring up to 45 people. So many. And then also only open to Geog people, if have not enough then might open to the whole school. So sad =( Because most of my friends are in history classes, or the lit ones. But nevermind la, my own class got friends going also. But somehow, i have a feeling that if i go for this, it will not be as fun as the melbourne one. The teachers going are not my favourite teachers either so. Ya, and i feel really guilty. Chinese new year going to japan already, then march going new york and other places in the US, then June also going Alaska Cruise, after this New Zealand trip. So much money. Oh well, finally parents are implementing the "parents sit business children sit econ" thingie, when we go to New York. To japan, we're all sitting econ. Then to alaska (we fly to vancouver) also probably sit econ la. I think only EOY then we can sit business, when we've accumulated enough points. Oh well, I'm not really that bothered la, just sucks when you have to walk through business class to the back there. Hahahaha. Oh well, to me, I agree with my dad that the money shouldn't be spent on the air tickets. As in, it's like just that few hours, or rather, that many hours, but once it's gone, it's gone, might as well spend it on something that you can keep next time. It might be a bit uncomfortable, but with SIA service, should be fine la. So well, once again, I'll not be able to sit in the business section of a 747 (japan trip). I never get to sit there. *pouts* Oh well, probably doesn't matter to any readers here so..

Anyway, my phone's working fine, getting acustomed to it =) Very happy. So well, hope not to get it scratched or anything, really precious you know =P Probably will be keeping it for the next few years or so, so can't loose it. Oh well, there's nothing much to talk about now, except that I can't sleep properly =( Oh ya, and going to send sms to coach telling him about Azhar, then he'll write a letter to him, saying that I should be awarded CCA points for having trainings outside. His theory is that Azhar will ask like why i have it outside, then he'll let me join the school one. But I'll probably tell him that the school one already say that coz i never join since sec 1 then they don't allow me la. So hopefully, i can start having cca points from my training outside. Anyway, to any people from 3F reading this, please don't go around spreading it. It's not nice alright? Ya, so i seriously hope that my cca life can get back on track, it's horrible telling people that I have no cca, or try to keep it from them. Esp my kaypo classmate, whole day go around asking people which cca i'm in. Xian la. Oh wellz, nothing much now, might do SS worksheet or something, though I've no mood too. There's also chinese compo left, but i seriously feel very tired today =( Napped like 3 hours just now, 3.30 to 6.45. Attempted major blogging session

Hi people!!! Well... I GOT IT! =) Daddy bought the V3 for me yesterday, so ya, was too busy and tired the whole day to blog. Whee! It's so cool! And I can't decide whether to use carwash, outrageous or crazy in love as my ringtone. So oh well, I think I'm using carwash now, since apparantly a lot of people use crazy in love. So anyway, it's sunday and I just woke up, and i really mean JUST. No one else is awake, except for my sister who just walked past. Going to drive to the airport to pick up her boyfriend who's returning from France. Today's going to be a major blogging session, and I'll try to blog for the 2 OBS days as well =) Oh lookie! Message.. Chey, from customer service, which reminds me that when I extended my 2 year plan right, they gave me this free one month subscription to "bye bye ringtone". So ya, they won't auto cancel for me, so if I don't want it, after one month must call them to cancel. So stupid, so if I forget, then they'll just charge the month 3 bucks to me. So useless lor, dunno anyone who actually uses it.

So... Yesterday. I shall tell you about my experience to the hormone doctor, as, most of you can see, I'm really short in comparison to most sec 3s in RI. Ok, so the doctor was at Mount Elizabeth, went there 10 minutes early, the place wasn't opened yet. So eventually, went inside, filled in form, took height weight. Oo, i was 165 on their scale, 164 in school =S So I think the stupid doctor only arrived at 9.30, appoinment was at 9. So nevermind, we went inside, then doctor started asking a lot of questions, like how heavy I was when I was born, how "tall" i was when I was born, then like primary 1, like whether I was shortest or tallest or whatever. So finally came the gross part, where he pulled the curtains and well... Checked the you know where. Bleaugh. Then he got this bunch of yellow plastic oval shaped things, which are meant to compare the size of the person he's checking to the size of the fake balls. So ya, finally it was over, then well, my puberty is "fairly advanced". Ahahahahah. Oh lookie, parents are awake. Yup, so next it was time for an X-ray, so crossed over to Paragon to get one, that was around 10am. So took the x-ray, had to wait like half and hour to get the results. It was of my left hand. Then we went downstairs, went to M1, stupidly realized that it wasn't opened yet. So dad went to SIA to book some tickets, for our New York trip in March. So anyway, dad says I can go to New Zealand with the school, I think I'll go la, even though like I'll probably be the only 2H person going there, and there'll be very little friends. But who cares, we can make new friends! Pity my favourite fat teacher isn't going though. Ah sigh.. We'll see. So at around 10.35, we went back up and the X-ray was ready. So went back down, crossed back to Mount E. and went back upstairs. So bummed around for around 5-10 minutes, before we went to see the doctor again. It was really crowded there, like no seats to sit kind of thing. And by the way, the X-ray of my hand, or rather wrist, is to show if my bones have fused together, if they haven't then it means that I'll still grow, and that growth hormones can help. If they have fused, like in Constance's case, she's doomed to remain this height.. Forever... So doctor said that I would have to take a few tests. Such as BLOOD TEST! AHHHHHH! As well as urine test. Doctor said that he would take a few days to look through the tests results and everything, then on Tuesday afternoon, we call him then he can tell us whether or not I can take hormones jabs or pills or whatever.. So the blood test was a wee bit painful, and the urine test was just gross. Had to pee into this little bottle. Teeheehee. So then finally it was done, it was like 11.25am already la. So went back down, crossed the road back to Paragon, and went to M1. Then remember that day, i think just last week my aunty and I went to m1 just to look around, then the mororola woman was there. So dad was on the phone, and she recognized me, then i asked to look at the phone again. So like look look look, test the camera, messages, finally dad finished the phone call and walked over. Then he was like "what's up?" Then before I could answer he was like "you want this phone izzit?" Then I nodded. Then he was like "Ok lor, go check if your line can extend" So yay! My line actually expired like last year June, because when I upgraded my 7250 in sec 1, it was using my brother's line. So went to the counter, and got the phone. Well, inside the box there's the V3, the battery, the cover for the battery, one bluetooth headset, one wired headset (which looks really nice!), one charger, one wire to split the charger into 2 so that i can charge bluetooth and phone at the same time, one USB cable to link the phone to the com, one cd for the programme, one leather pouch, one keychain.. And I think that's it. So the box itself is made of metal, really nice box. =) Then while checking the stuff, daddy went to sign the contract thingie, then i transferred sim card, tried to call dad, he tried to call me. Then we went to pay. $898 leh! Daddy's the greatest dad in the whole wide entire universe. And not just because he bought the phone, it's because of a WHOLE LOT of other things!! Love ya dad! So we didn't want to trade in my 8310 coz it was worth like 50 bucks, might have well have a spare phone loitering around. Besides, I'll probably use it whenever I have training, esp on Friday where there's like a lot of people people loitering around. Sundays is all like my coach's students, and Monday there's only 2 courts, the other court consisting of a bunch of really old men. So oh well.. Aunty will be reaching in half an hour's time, she called just now to say she was coming. Ah well.. So then went home, let my sisters scream when they saw my phone, then went to unpack the phone box, put the charger in, install the software for the phone. So, it was time for lunch. I went with parents alone.

So, mum asked if we found any phone, and my dad was like "oh, i bought him the V3." Silence. "how much was it?" "$898" DEADLY silence. "Are you crazy?" (this was in teo chew "le xiao ah") then my dad was like "But he wanted it what" Then i was just sitting there hoping that I wouldn't be murdered, wishing I could just jump out of the car. Then mum was like "i tell you ah, you better do well this year or not I'll hammer you." (they always use the "hammer" word) So she asked whether it was 3G and stuff, and still couldn't figure out why a phone could cost so much, because it wasn't 3G. So went into the restaurant, which is like rather casual type of restaurant. Then sat down opposite my mum. Then she was like "You evil boy ah, must have gone and pester your dad right?" But she was half smiling already la, so I knew it was ok. So dad was like "No la, I wanted to buy it for him." Oh ya, then in the car she was like muttering "You all ah, too pampered already, every 2 years change handphone." Then i was like HUH? 2 years, isn't that already rather long?? So dad was like "No la, last year he had to give the phone to clement that's why he's asking for a new one what, or not he wouldn't ask for one." The last sentence i'm not too sure, but ya, the first part was true. My mum herself had said on the last night my bro was here during dinner that I give my phone to him so that he could use tri-band, then they'd buy me a new phone. My 2 aunties were there as witness. So ya, lunch was fine, noodles and some meatball thingie which is REALLY nice. Then went home, and started fiddling around with my phone, like transferred 3 songs, 2 only the chorus, 1 the whole song. Crazy in love la, somehow managed to squeeze it into 1.5MB. The phone can only store like 5MB worth of things, so ya. And the mp3s are meant as ringtones, not as an mp3 player. So transferred a pic of cons inside too, so that her face'll show on the outer screen if she calls me. The camera on this phone isn't too good, rather lousy in fact, so decided that transferred a pic which was taken by a digi cam from the computer was much better. Besides, the outer screen is really tiny, so must have a clear picture before can see the person's face. So then practiced a little of the dance, managed to do the whole thing on the 3rd try, then sisters dragged me along with them to the running track to run. Ran 2.4, consistant througout except for a slight increase in speed for last round, finally sprinting the last 100 m. Didn't feel tired in fact, could have ran more if i wanted to. Hmm, unlike in school that time for the 2.4, probably because the stupid teacher made us do a warm up run, so run already, then stop, then our stamina go hay wire. Stupid teacher. So came home, showed sisters the dance, went to bathe, then had dinner, went back up, chatted a little, then changed to go and watch sky captain at SICC. Came home, chatted a little, became tired and slept. Woke up this morning, blogged till now, and I'm eating a pear for breakfast. Seems like once again, I have no time to blog for OBS. Xian la. Maybe I'll never have time to get down to it. Bleaugh, hope tonight can, if i finish all my homework.

Dance

Hey people! Phew, just came back from and ultra satisfying dinner, and gayed around with my sister. I suspect it's because Chars and I are rather drunk (we drank wine at dinner) and constance just had to put up with it =) So anyway, we were acting as siamese triplets, joined at the, ahem, boobs. (Charmain said that) Oh ya, and they were busy trying out Charmain's new bikini, and wanted me to appreciate it. So well, it was nice, while colour and only one side has design. So dad during dinner was like "send it back to the shop, it's faulty. Only one side got design." So we all laughed, then i was like "hahaha, I thought it was faulty coz one side was bigger than the other or something.." So dinner was great, ate at Da Paolo, which is near my house here, ate Lamb Leg, everyone did. Wine at first they gave us this OBVIOUSLY diluted bottle of wine. We all suspect it's because they saw my sis and I drinking it, so they're like "little kids" but oh well, WE'RE NOT! Drink already immediately puked it out.. No la, kidding. But they didn't have much reaction to changing to another bottle for us. And that bottle they opened it in front of us, whereas the first one, they didn't. Then the guy hor, i noticed was at the counter like keep looking at us to see if we were watching him. So well, the 2nd time the guy opened it at the table beside us, so we knew it was definitely real. So it tasted great, 10 times better than the first one =) So well.. Shall talk about what happened today.

As most of you know, we have to do this dance for Morrison House next monday. Because it's house meeting, and the commitee have seriously nothing better to do than to entertain the new sec 1s and make all the poor performers work like hell. And of course there has to be a brilliant 2Her to go and tell the Morrison com, so well, I'm not naming which of the 3 commitee members (I think there's only 3) but anyway, none of them came down today to dance. So extremely pissed. I mean, that's so inconsiderate right? Obviously that person knew that he wouldn't have to dance, or we wouldn't call him to, that's why he go volunteer. So F**king irritating la. Feel like killing him now. Megabitch, gigabitch, TERABITCH. Hmph. Well, we're dancing to "crazy in love" Hahahaha, had a really good time learning the moves, very funny. But well, practicing it at the end right, I think my mind just became really lazy after lunch, all the blood in the stomach (excuses excuses). So couldn't really dance well, couldn't remember what came next and everything. So bleaugh, finally managed to do it right once at like 5.30? So ya, it's like for the first 1.30mins of the song we're doing a whole sequence, then there's the intro again where we walk around, change positions, bo liao.. Then finally we repeat the whole thing again, then chorus, then walk around, the repeat till like halfway where the song ends. So sister says the moves are really slow, but to hell with her la, only got 1 day to learn leh, and we're not pro dancers lor. Can dance to it in the first place already very good. So anyway, to all dancers out there, practice at home! And don't worry too much about screwing up on monday, after all it's not a competition, at most we just restart the song! And besides, such short notice only right? Sec 1 we had 7 practice sessions. And at least we bothered to DO something right? Most of the people would just be sitting there doing nothing and stoning while watching us dance. But I guess, when we've done it finish on Monday, we would feel good =) So well.

Ok so that's about it for today, yesterday wasn't very eventful so shan't bother about it. Aiya! No jaq sim today =( No fun one, she's probably the new teacher whom I can have stories about to tell my sister. Last year was obviously quah, and a little bit of Kelwyn when he was teaching us. So need a new person. Heh, and I bet jaq sim, i'll never run out of interesting things to tell my sister. Heh heh heh. So sigh, somehow during dinner Dad brought up the topic of what hp i wanted to buy. So cons go and barge in and say "he wants the V3 lah!!!" So dad was like pretend joke joke dunno what phone that was. So Cons was being the ultimate asshole. Kept saying like why not worth buying la, blah di blah la, then was like "how much izzit ah? Damn ex right? $898" So ya la, that is the price. Then dad was like "If I buy it for you, people here will not be happy (he nodded towards my mum who was rather lost), people in US also will not be happy (referring to my brother)." So I was like "ya, and people here will also not be happy" Oh well, then he laughed then I just ignored him and resumed drinking my soup. I'm very sure he knew I was upset. So then cons went on ranting again about why it's not worth buying the phone blah di blah. So ya, if my dad doesn't buy me that phone tomorrow, I probably won't change phone. I don't think I want any other phones now, even though I have like my top 5 whatevers. But ya, I saw the A668 that day, and not sure if i mentioned it, but the screen is really small, and pics taken on the phone itself are not nice at all, even though it has a 1.2 megapixal camera. So ya lor, not good phone. Xian la.. So well, seems like I'll be stuck with this phone till I find a phone that is worth buying, or once i've forgotten about the V3. Oh ya, and first thing when cons said about which phone I want, my dad was like "you're going to spend your time worrying about the phone." like if people steal it or what la. So well, last time I had training, so it was a different thing, whereas now the only time the phone will not be with me is when I go PE, but even so, I can bring it down and put it in teacher's bag. Or when I have trainings la, at most just leave phone at home lor, then borrow other's phone if i have to. Ya so well... Sad =( But I shan't really complain, it IS a very expensive phone after all, just hoping dad'll change his mind now. Ok, that's about it, and if you didn't notice, day 4 and 5 of OBS still isn't up yet. I'm still too lazy to type it out =P So ya, maybe tomorrow? Hi people! Phew, reading shui hu juan, that chapter of my life has closed. So anyway, today was the test, which turned out to be really easy, because the teacher put the page numbers at the side =P So anyway, managed to answer all MCQs and only 2 open-ended. No time.. So anyway, Jerome just told me that he's going back to Hong Kong. Today is his last day la, and he didn't inform us. Or rather, didn't inform me, if any of you readers know about it earlier. Aiyoi, never really thought about friends leaving like Singapore to return to their own country. After all, i did sit next to Jerome for the majority of last year. Ah well, Jerome, wish you all the best in the coming years and always remember 2H!! So ok, moving on..

Well, today's Tuesday, triple RE period!! Haha. So morning we had like Physics first, we were introduced to Theresa Lai. Then she started going through the stupid CA thingie, and then the bottom there got the plagarism thingie. So none of us seemed to realize that that day, the other physics teacher had gone through it already. So at the end, like half an hour later, she was like "eh, has Mr. so and so gone through this already?" Then we all like think think think, then realized that in fact, yes, he had already. So she kinda scolded us la. So very pai seh, coz I guess, being monitor I was supposed to inform her. So she still doesn't know who the monitor is, or rather she didn't ask la. So oh well. So eventually Chinese period arrived, and then went toilet la, and it STANK LIKE HELL! Woah, someone had shat, shet? there and didn't flush the toilet la. So ya, like hold breath then finally ran back up to class. So after the test, came Maths. We had our pop quiz. And it went well........ *wink wink* So hope to get full marks la. Then also we learnt the inverse variation thingie. So quite interesting, I really think Tan Mui Hong is a good maths teacher la, and she's not say very strict, because 3E seems to be really quiet, and 3F also because it's like not our usual environment. So ya lor, the lesson goes quite well, and of course Guo Nian is well known for talking a lot. Yeah, so it was recess, and had to get the people to sign the stupid pink form to say that they have received the Edusave form thingie. So finally only one guy hadn't signed, so in the end got Jevon to forge the signature. Aiya, like they'll check liddat. Then while walking to SR2, realized that that guy was walking in front of me =P So heck care, just went to put it in Mdm Ong's letter rack. So had recess, bought a sandwich only la. Somehow, felt like it was lunchtime, because the morning seemed to pass so slow.

So next was RE. Went to the stadium steps a litte late, and suddenly realized that being monitor I had to take attendance. So managed to get the class list from the guy, then took attendance, then entered the hall. So it was a talk by dunno who la, he last time taught in RI in 1992 i think. So who cares, really boring. Then after an hour, was time to watch "supersize me". So obviously didn't get to watch it finish, then at the last part got those stupid people go cat call when the pictures of the women appeared. Aiyoi, I really don't see why the guy must like go and stop it and make us stand. It's obviously meant as a joke right? And we're guyz after all. So oh well, stood there for 15 minutes, then those stupid bored people go start coughing la, sneezing la. SO LAME! I mean, standing there for 15 minutes already la, it's not as though the teachers are deaf lor. And they're probably used to this, so eventually we had to stay back for another 5 minutes. And then the coughing got really annoying la, those people, so stupid one la. Can't stand the people who went to cough and stuff. I sometimes really thank god that I got such a nice class as 3F lor. I mean, they're all very nice people, and well, nerdy so obviously they won't go and do these kind of things. So I guess sec 1 and 2, I had enough of action, annoying, loud people. So I guess 3F is a big change, and it's a rather nice change to me. I don't have annoying people like Yan xiang, no action people like nicholas, no extra people like, well, some extra people in our class, and well, no scene of bullying. There's a little bit of targetting at someone, Stanley la, stupid guy, leg got scar already la. But anyway, it's a little bit like the "kennedy" situation in 2H la. But not as bad la. So overall, I'm really happy with the class now. Obviously there's the forever irritating Aaron, and that philbert sit with him right, 2 of them become really horrible. I mean really horrible la, dunno when to stop and stuff. So philbert if you're reading this, hope you can try and stop being clownish and foolish with Aaron. A bit is ok la, but not all the time. So like bio lesson when aaron's gone right, it's really nice and the perfect environment for studying. Ya so well, I have no complaints of 3F =) Well not yet anyway. Oh ya, and we have really good teachers la. Like mdm ong is nice, fun, and relatively good. Only fiona chong is a little weird. Then like bio teacher, she's a little weird too, whole day like cock eye one. She tends to look above and behind whatever she wants to look at, i think her eye has problem. And she likes to say "ah" at the end of every sentence. I think she's called Jacylene (how to spell?) Lim. Then our chem teacher, I've not really seen her teach, but she looks rather ok la. Probably better than that Wincy. Young teachers seem to not be able to teach well. So then maths, you know about her la. Physics, Theresa Lai sounds like a good teacher also, those in control type. Then well, quah is well.. bad.. But she's better this year la, I think 2H really was bad to her. Heh. So then SS is you know, jaq sim. Erm, who else ah. I think that's about it right? Only asshole is probably Dennis Au la. Heh. Err, ya, i think that's all the teachers I have. So very happy =) Ah well, now that no need to read shui hu juan like very free liddat leh. But later on need to go and do stupid english script for tomorrow. Heck la, anyhow do also don't care la. Stupid ms quah. Xianz la.. PE also, play hockey again. Hope my leg is better tomorrow =P What else? I think that's about it for today. Hi people, it's like 7.13pm now, so got a little time to post before dinner. I'm not very hungry for some reason.. Oh ya!! Because after coming home from 3rd lang I ate some chocolate and drank a cup of coffee. I was seriously falling asleep in 3rd lang class lor, then earlier on after 3rd lang had to stay awake to read shui hu juan. Still got like 7 chapter to go. Bleaugh, i read damn slow la. Like only 4 chapters. Sigh, but chapter 23 was like 14.5 pages long? Without the pictures so ended up to 20 pages in the book. So very happy! Half way through the 2nd book already, so I just have to really rush through it tonight. Luckily tomorrow got like triple RE, so only maths (which has like very little homework), chinese (which is just the test) and I think another subject. Not sure la, but one of the sciences of which we don't have any homework yet. So ya lor, basically tonight I'm very free, just need to read shui hu juan only. Then tomorrow, come home then do the stupid english oral thingie. Aiya, that ms quah ah, got problem one la. Whole day take up CLE period to do english stuff. Hmph, should complain to Mdm Ong and make her take the period, then we won't have to do the stupid oral presentation. Xianz la. So not even sure about what I should talk about. So anyway, today we had PE right, then hockey la. So ran around, teacher like somehow immediately noticed that i was a hockey player (bleaugh) and then after that, like just started playing, already kena hit by aaron la. So damn pain, then resumed after a while, run run run, then not used to it then step on the ball and nearly twisted my ankle. Damn pain la, then sat there for a while, then Mr Kuan came over and asked about my CCA la. So i told him my story, and he said to see Mr Azhar. So ya, I'll probably go see him. Mr kuan's really nice lor. Ya, so my coach said he'll write a letter to Mr Azhar for me too. Oh shucks, it's time for dinner. Maybe i'll elaborate tomorrow or something, when I have time. No difference

Sigh... Ok feeling rather sad now, and xian, but really happy that i've completed my chinese zuo wen! Heh, but rather panicky when i just realized that I have 2 days left to complete the 2nd book of shui hu juan. Worse come to worse, tomorrow skip training and read lor. Anyway, monday trainings are the most boring of all, but actually the most useful. That's because there's nobody who's actually my standard there, and there's only 1 court, so it's used for training. So monday is the only day where I get a lot of training, like sundays is totally game day, and fridays is a mixed la.

So anyway, this morning woke up at 10.20 by aunty. Actual fact, woke up at like 8am, a few minutes before my aunty's alarm clock rang. But I think she switched it off and continued sleeping, and i eventually fell asleep again, because next thing I knew, she was waking me up. So anyway, went down, ate mango cake (which is really good) and then went to bathe, change and then cons decided to come along with us. So we went hello @ Orchard, and WOW the mitsubishi phone is HUGE! First thing i saw it, it was booted to the bottom of the list. Heh, so well... So bummed around, the singtel service wasn't very good, or rather, i wanted to look at the Motorola phone, but the motorola people weren't there. So left after a short while, and crossed the road to M1 Paragon. So there was a motorola person there, and she was really nice, showed us the A668 which is really cool! Aha, but the photo quality on the phone itself sux, considering it's a 1.2 megapixal camera. So not very sure about it, though the woman says that it'll turn out much better on computer. So then tried out the camera, like multishot, self-portrait and other stuff also la. So quite liked the phone. Then sister caught sight of the V3, then she asked the woman if we could see the phone. So I think they went to take a brand new set, and had to even charge the phone for us. So we waited around like 15 minutes before we could see the phone. And the minute it was put in my hands right, straight away went to number 1 in the list!!! It's DAMN NICE!!!! *starts drooling* Ya, so the screen is way bigger than the A668, and although it is much wider than most phones, it actually fits nicely in my hands, though cons said it was a little too big. So the camera wasn't working, because the battery was too low. However, the woman said that if you wanted a picture as a wallpaper on the phone, the V3 one would turn out nicer, though it was a VGA camera and was only 0.3 megapixal, because of the bigger screen and stuff. But obviously on computer screen it would be of lousier quality. So stared at it for a long time, wishing I could somehow have it. So finally left the shop, and proceeded to taka to buy sashimi. Then went home, and reached back at around 1pm, ate finish at 1.20 and had tons of time to spare before leaving for training. So training was fun, i wasn't late, and ya, though i lost all the games today, but it was fun la, because played with good people, so the game was exciting and enriching. Hahahahaha. So oh well.

Then came home, and attempted to start a class blog/class msn group. Both of which after starting remained stagnant. Because I still can't decide which is better though. If I start a class blog right, I think it'll be very messy when people post stuff and all, whereas msn group is more efficient and neater la, but sometimes I still find it hard to read the stuff. And of course blogs will look much nicer, and I can get philbert to help =) So ya, didn't get anything done. Then had dinner, which was jap curry, while sisters went to SMU track to run. Heh, i just realized that it was because cons was taking height and weight tomorrow. So she ate less dinner, and I think isn't going to eat much breakfast tomorrow either, though I don't see how one meal and one time of jogging can help much. So anyway, after dinner, managed to complete the sickening chinese compo of which i only wrote one and slightly more than half page. Damn sad. So that took a long long time, and well, i was chatting like in the middle of it as well, so ya la, got distractions.

Then it was time to go to the airport. It was supposed to be Chars and Cons going la, then it would be just nice 5 people in the car, because my aunty was driving. So i decided that if i could finish my chinese compo, i would go la. Then no space, so i hit on the brilliant idea that Charmain could drive us there and back, and my aunty could just simply go home without fetching us. But of course my aunty being SOOOOOO kiasu, didn't allow because of charmain's past driving experience. Sigh....... So eventually charmain said she didn't want to go lor, and obviously i was angry, because it's like soo much funner if chars goes. But aiya, cons go alone also very lonely, so i just went lor. But aiyoi, do you know that after ther 3rd accident ah, charmain whole day drive on the ultramost left lane la, and very slowly also lor, so really, there's nothing to fear la. Just dunno how come she stationary car can bang. So anyway, reached the airport, then very happy happy mah, miss my parents so much. So when they finally appeared, cons and I almost became like the puppies when they are really hungry and kyuu is outside of the cage loitering around. In the puppies case, they would start whining and whining and jumping around in the cage, in our case, we would squeal in delight and jump up and down too. Until finally they came out and I rushed to hug my mum, as well as taking in the beautiful smell of aeroplanes! Hahaha. So then hugged dad as well. So we walked and stuff, and I pushed the trolley. Mum and cons were talking about the stuff she had bought in hong kong, and dad was betting with me that 50% of the class didn't wear long pants. Heh, i won obviously... So I was obviously expecting something along the line of "congrats on being monitor" and stuff, but never happened. No mention at all. So I was like, nevermind la. So in the car, i sat in front with my aunty, and the 3 of them behind. So sitting in front, you don't really get to say much and stuff, whereas like the 3 of them behind were talking a lot. Well, they said some funny stuff here and there, but still nothing... Finally we reached home, and then I proceeded to send my aunty off, because she would be returning home tonight. So by then my mum had changed, dad was washing up. So loitered around, and then mum was busy showing everyone what she had bought for the 2 girls la. Bags, skirts, blouses everything, and only 1 t-shirt for me. And it wasn't say very very nice, just long-sleeve, so next time i wear it'll be when i go overseas probably. So sat there as though I was not of any existance. So decided that since they were all busy changing and trying on their new clothes, i went to the study room to see my dad. He was busy doing work, clearing up some faxes that came in while they were gone. And well, my parents practically ignore you while they're doing work la. Like everytime i come home, my mum's doing work, and we say hi, she kisses me, then later on in the evening she comes running up and accusing me of not saying hi to her and making her worried all over and being like some lousy son or something. Then obviously i have to protest and stuff. So anyway, sat there, doing nothing, hoping dad would actually say something. Oh well, shouldn't have wished for much anyway. After all, I AM the 4th child and what I achieve has probably been done by my brother or sisters before so.. Like they never remember anything nice or cute i did as a baby, whereas everything about my brother is remembered. So oh well, left the study room, went to mummy's room, said goodnight, and she asked about the t-shirt, and that's it. So oh well, seems that nothing's changed. Obviously i'm totally relieved that they're home and near us, but... I was rather hoping for some happy congrats or something from them. Maybe to them it's not a big deal, but to me it is something that I feel that i've worked hard for and deserve to at least hear something from them. But oh well, can't exactly blame them. Clearing up work or unpacking stuff is probably more important to them now. Maybe tomorrow.. maybe..

What to do...

Hey people. Sigh, such a boring day.. Ah well, i just found out the reason why there's practically no one online like today, coz everyone's busy at jevon's house. And poor me? At home stoning. Ah well, I wasn't invited so.. Hm, he muttered something about "my parents won't let me" but still, it's a courtesy to at least invite me right, what if my parents DO allow me? In actual fact, they don't allow me is only due to the fact that they're not in singapore, and i guess this is one of those stayovers which hit that period of time, so i wouldn't be able to go anyway.. Still, i would have expected at least an invitation, but oh well, what to do right?

Oh well, after blogging, didn't manage to do anything except bum around on msn i think, hoping that people would come online, apparantly i was the only loser who didn't/couldn't/wasn't invited to go to jev's party. So decided that I would watch Tomb Raider, the cradle of life at 9pm. So went to watch it lor, it's definitely much lousier than the first one, because it's a little confusing and stuff, but oh well, since i was so freaking bored and had nothing better to do, soo.... Ah well, aunty watched it with me, half of the time she was asleep, she's always asleep while watching movies one la. Sigh.. So xian now, no mood to do anything, and I still have all my homework to do lei.. How ah? Tomorrow got training as well. Xianz. Feel so xian after that day's "tryouts". Sigh, got SS to do, maths, and chinese compo. Only the compo and ss is due on monday la, but the stupid compo is on my name, as in, zhao weimin. How lame right? Like have to find out about the origin and why my parents named me that. Bleaugh, I could write it out in once freaking sentence la. Sigh, so have to go and talk cock to expand that one sentence to at least 200 words. Xian xian xian.. Oh lookie, sister just returned home, she went sentosa i think. Xian xian xian.. Everyone's having such fun on a Saturday night, while i'm cooped up in my little house. Yeah, it turns very little when the alarm system is on and you're confined to the upper level, and half the time 2 of the doors are closed (sister's room) and you have no mood to work out, or use the other 2 computers or watch the tv in my brother's room, so my room's the only place i can be. Oh yeah, to get to the library must get past the alarm. Xian la, i can disarm it anytime, but who wants to do such depressing things like read when you're already so xian? Sigh.. So tomorrow morning, bo liao go orchard hello shop to see the mitsubishi phone, then go taka and buy sashimi for lunch. Then after that then come home, eat, then go training. Xian.. Maybe I should wake up in the morning to do my SS homework. Am I that lame? Feels like tonight is another sleepless night. Sigh, so many things on my mind now.. Last night dreamt that hockey coach popped into my room and gave me ultra evil look and wanted to murder me. Bleaugh. Hope Eric Koh stays out of my mind tonight!! Later come in then start lecturing me on history. Bleaugh. Sigh, feeling xian, hope all my readers get the xianess mood in them. Saturday

Yo yo people! It's saturday today, no school! Wheehee, but aiyoi, last night ah, somehow had so many things in my head that i didn't exactly get a good sleep, ended up waking up at 9 something instead of like the usual 12pm. Haha. So anyway, went downstairs, bummed around, ate breakfast, the last 2 slices of mango cake. Bleaugh, cons came down just like 5 minutes after i finished and demanded to know who ate the last piece. Oh well, i admitted, and she stormed off, eating chocolate for breakfast. So oops. Then my aunty told me that there were many hp advertisements in the paper, so snatched them from her and flipped through the pages la. Then suddenly in the singtel page, i saw this Mitsubishi M900 phone. It had TWO megapixal camera! Wah, so I immediately went online to find out about the phone la. So turns out that it seems to have kicked the Pantech phone out of 1st position. Well, because it has a 1.3 megapixal camera, but because of some CCD technology, it's like 2 megapixal in the end. So only singtel sells the mitsubishi phones. Anyway, it's a flip phone, but the camera is behind, not on the front cover. So there's no chance of acting like the Samsung model and taking pictures of yourself with the phone closed. But there is an external screen, which is like 1.5 inch wide, the internal screen is 2.2 inch wide. Very big, and both are 262k colours. And also, there's another camera inside when you open the phone, meant for either taking self portraits or like video of yourself. So seems to me that it's rather like a 3G phone, but i doubt it has the 3G functions la. So it has polyphonic ringtones, and has a slot for mini-SD card so it can also play MP3s. And it's tri-band. So it looks a lot like the Samsung E700A from the outside, but one drawback is that it's a very big phone la. I mean, it's even longer than my 8310 when it's closed. Bleaugh. But aiya, it's a totally cool phone. And also, i don't mind it's size, because I'm used to carrying phones that size, so it's good. But no fingerprint recognition =( Hahahah, such a sucker for that. And it's heavy, 125g lor. Bleaugh. But oh well, I don't mind having it!! Pity only singtel sells it la. So ya, shall bug dad to buy it for me. Maybe I really should research on all brands possible before making decisions. So aunty and I went to SICC for lunch, ate speghetti (how to spell?) because the chicken bryani was sold out. Then ate the usual ice kachang with the scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and froze myself inside out, was shivering while leaving the place, and was really happy when i entered the car which was being burnt by the sun. At least i warmed up real fast! So came home, bummed around, continue to check out phones, and did finish the stupid picture list for Ms quah. Hehe, I didn't take a picture of myself, so took one of me in the US la, had my dyed hair. Muahahaha. So extra. Heh, so anyway, then went to play pool with cons, became rather hysterical, then went to take a "swim". We were mostly discussing phones and bobbing around the pool. I didn't want to swim swim, because my eyes would get all tired and stuff, then i wouldn't be able to read shui hu juan later on. Yay, finished first book finally, have to read 2nd one. Man, didn't know i was capable of making such progress! So very happy. Then went on to bum around on the computer, looking around for different price plans by the 3 service providers. Realized that all 3 had the same plan, which was $25.50. Free incoming calls, free i think 150 minutes outgoing based on Super off peak rates, and 500 free smses. Ya, but starhub is better, because they use per second billing. So like calls to my driver which usually last less than 10 seconds will be cheaper. So if anyone can't decide between the 3, go get the starhub one!! So oh well, i probably won't change my plan, because my mum thinks it's good, and i'm happy with it as well. Btw, m1 has this student special, whereby first 6 months, u can call 3 friends for free, have 700 free smses and 150 outgoing minutes based on superoffpeak rates. But then after you pay like $3 something a month to get 50% off the price to those 3 friends, and the smses become 500 free. Offer must be taken up by end of this month. So cheat. If you didn't read the "terms and conditions" below you wouldn't know lor, but aiya, all this surely got catch one la. Typical... So anyway, still wishing that mitsubishi would make the phone smaller and lighter, but all the same, i like the phone a lot. Hope daddy'll get it for meeee! Hahaha, it's like $498, but it's only singtel. And I think recently he used his plan to upgrade char's phone, so ya, probably can't get the $498 price. Bleaugh.. Nevermind la, see how first. I miss my parents!! They're in hong kong now, coming back only on sunday. Went on a 3-in-1 trip. Instead of the this week go china, next week go vietnam, following week go jakarta thingie, they went to like china and vietnam at one go, then to hong kong too to do shopping. So ya lor, one whole long week. But at least next week they'll be home!! =) Hope they buy stuff for me while in hong kong. Teeheee. Aiya, very xian now leh, no one online to talk to.. Sigh, supposed to have typed a short intro then moved on to Day 4 of OBS, but seems like this "short" intro has taken up much of my finger energy. Bleaugh, maybe tomorrow guys! Jaqueline Sim!

Hey people!! Woah! I had jaq sim for last period for SS today man, damn cooool! Hahaha. So anyway, in the morning we had like Quah, we did our short essay during class time, then commonwealth essay and the oral were due next week. Then we had maths next, nothing much interesting.. Oh ya, her mole is under her chin there, so not so obvious as quah's one =P Then recess, Jevon, Philbert, Guo Nian and I went to RJ to eat la. So yesterday, Fiona Chong told us that the apple crumble was really good, so I decided to eat it, since its size was just right for recess. So it was good, a little sour, or salty? Not very sure what that odd taste is, but you get used to it after a while. So philbert ate like a total of 3 slices of some green cake. I think it's like green grass flavour...... HAHAHA. ok lame, no I'm not sure what flavour it was. Then finally at around 10.30, I realized that we were at RJ and had to rush back to RI in order to not be late. Oh ya, and during the recess right, I was busy stealing Jevon's luncheon meat and tofu. The stall vender gave him a lot of food la. Then later on also stole his Milo to drink. So ya, we returned back to RI and when I got to class, Mdm ong was already there la, but she was busy getting ready the computer, and well, the class hadn't greeted her because I wasn't there =P So pai seh, I already late for class twice la. So she's good in the sense that she types everything out in the computer, then teaches from there, occasionally writing stuff on the board. So we just basically copy everything down la, and well, she's a rather exciting teacher because sometimes she'll tell us stuff relating to the words we're learning. Oh ya, did i mention that she has this weird habit of staring at people while teaching? Like first day, wednesday, I was her victim, then yesterday was Yong Jing, today she didn't exactly have a victim la, but still.. So after chinese, then it was............... Jaqueline Sim.. Wah, i tell you ah, she came in with a black face la, then she looked DAMN UGLY! Hahaha, so like i said class stand, then like the few malays hadn't returned, because their language class was at Junior block or something, then finally after like 5 plus minutes then they returned. Then during that time, she just stared and stared at us, then we finally realized she was counting the number of people in the class. Heh, so when the last guy came in, then Zhuang Yi went to like clap la, then she came in and said "Who's the moron who clapped?" Then he raised his hand, then she was like "you want to continue clapping outside?" Wah, we all stand there right, like knees shaking lor, she was damn scary at first la.. So she was like "first of all, I'd like to tell you all, that this class, can be very fun, we can talk and laugh, or I could be a bitch and send anyone who displeases me out. It's your lesson, you take care if it." So we were like aiyo, she use the bitch word. So then finally we greeted her, then sat down. So she started by asking us to introduce ourselves, then like she said that we had to start from the corners la, so no one stood up, then she was like "i'm going to explode..." So finally Jeffrey stood up, this Malaysian scholar. Then he introduced himself, and even said that he didn't understand 50% of what she said earlier. Heh, coz earlier she was talking very softly, and his english isn't good. So like go go go, then like occasionally she would shout "NEXT!" damn loudy la, first time she did that like everyone jumped. So when it came to me and i stood up, then she was like "wah, you look like at irritatingly happy person." So of course everyone, including me laughed la. So after that i was like "I'm christopher, index number 35. I don't watch tv, and the only computer game i play is Diablo2. And I have 6 dogs." Then she was like happy when I said I played diablo 2, but her eyes went really wide when i said i had 6 dogs. Then she was like "do you live in a compound big enough for 6 dogs?!" So I was like "errr, ya.." Then she said "so what kind of dogs are they?" Then I said "5 chihuahuas and 1 beagle" Then she was like "chey..." Haha, so after that I sat down, then she was like "Ok christopher, very good." then she moved on. So yeah, hope she likes me! Or not har, i don't want to get on her bad side man.. So like when aaron stood up, then he said his name la, like aaaaron, then she was like "wrong! It's ehhhron" Like that kind of sound la, like eh sound instead of aa sound. So i mean, it was HIS name right? Then she go say it's wrong. So damn funny la, she was like "even your own name also dunno how to pronounce.." Then also when clement stood up, she was like "Oi you, skinny boy!" Haha.. So ya, finally after everyone introduced themselves, then she proceeded to tell us the rules and like what we would be learning this year. So we finally finished and she warned us not to be late for any 2.15 classes. And every monday we have her lesson lor, friday of even week is the last period, so she can also hold us back. So cham. Haha, but she let us off on time, then philbert said he didn't want to go marche, aiya, expected one la, he always say wanna go wanna go, then in the end always back out. So oh well, we all went S-11 to eat, like Shawn, Kaibin, Aaron, junliang, jevon they all. Then Aaron junliang and jev sat my car and we went to Pacific plaza, they wanted to buy a belt. So just tagged along, didn't see anything fascinating though. Oh ya, and the board shorts were like 70+ bucks la, i bought in the US was like only 30 plus, and my parents were already complaining. Bleaugh. So oh well, happy that it's the weekend and that I have training tonight =) It's from 6-8. Hmph, coach now slacking, last time was 5-8. Actually I think it's still 5-8, but 5-7 is like for the little kiddos, so 6-8 is for the pros =P So there's a little overlapping where he'll have 3 courts for one hour, the other 2 he only has 2 courts I think. So we can go early, but probably the priority is given to the kiddos. So ya lor, shall only go at 6pm la.

Oh well, I'm too tired, or lazy to type about Day 4 and 5 of OBS, maybe tonight or something. Oh yeah, and for this post, i'm keeping the font as "normal size". OBS part 2

Hi hi! So anyway, I've decided that since it's like 6.39 and my aunty's still at work, I probably won't be eating dinner anytime soon. So, I shall continue on what happened in OBS from day 3 onwards. I really hope people are reading my blog, so just say hi or something if u read it, even if you have nothing to say! At least i know you read it. (Now i know how yh feels) So anyway...

Day 3 (6th January)
So this morning we woke up at around 6 plus. Apparantly there were many instances of passing showers, but we pitched our tents well and no rain got in, whereas some other tents had "rain" in their tent. So, this was probably the best night I ever slept during the entire trip, because like at home, i have my 4 clocks which tick away when i sleep. So like the raindrops are like "soothing" to me and i fall asleep. For the first night, when it started raining around 5am right, i immediately fell asleep la. I could actually feel myself falling asleep. So moving on. We ate our breakfast, and unpitched our tents, packed everything and divided the common loads among the different people. Once again, i had to lug the entire tent along. I think. Hmmm, can't really remember, but I think I had to. Or the ground sheet aaron took then i carried the tent. But whatever, my bag was so heavy that I couldn't tell the difference. So we proceeded to hike to camp 1, which was about 900m away. We left without Hilary, as they were supposed to get there themselves. So we managed to cross the bridge that led to no where, and in the light we realized that it was because there was a sharp turn immediately at the end of the bridge, so in the night it looks like we're seeing trees there only. So we hike hike hike, and finally decided to break, because we all had shoulder ache. So bummed around for 5 minutes, in which i just sat on the ground and lay on my bag, refusing to remove it. So had to get someone to pull me up, nearly toppled over coz that guy pulled me that time right, his own bag pull him backwards, so i was swung off the ground very fast. Heh, so we made our way. And we were all like "how long more how long more???" Then Elgene was like "when you think you reach you tell me ah" So we were like, aiya, must be a long way. Then we walked round a corner, and there was camp 1, hardly 5 minutes walk away from where we rested. Felt like fools, and of course Elgene was grinning happily away. We were supposed to reach there before 10, and we arrived at 9. So anyway, we dumped our stuff at the campsite, which was like near the Indiana, very far inside, but along the beach. So there were many red ants, very gross, and i got Kelvin to knock the pegs in, because 1stly, there were so many red ants, and our tent was pitched near a tree, 2ndly, i couldn't knock them in anyway. Haha. So after that, we were told to bring our climbing equipment and meet her at the "One for all, all for one" sign. Now i know, our seniors aren't so original after all... So, we met her there, then she took us on a tour of the camp1. It's really big, and nice. So ended up outside the instructor's area there, Then we were supposed to play some games to "wake ourselves up". Like the hike didn't already make us awake. Bleaugh. So anyway, we played this game where each of us was a certain value, I didn't have specs, so was of less value =( I was like worth 10 cents. So she'll say a value, then you have to group yourself up to form that value. So only once then I didn't manage to do it, so then had to do 5 jumping jacks, or 5 push-ups. I opted for the jumping jacks =) So did philbert. So after that got another game, or was it before the money game? Not sure, basically that game was that 2 people were supposed to form a tower, and then one beauty, and one beast. So the beast must get across the tower to catch the beast. So first time I was going against philbert, I was the beauty. Didn't get caught la, so philbert had to do jumping jacks on his own. Then next I was the tower, I think Aaron supposed to catch Philbert? Not sure, all I remember is that the last one right, I was also the tower, with like aaron or philbert, then kelvin was the beast la. Then like once start, he immediately ran around us and caught the beast. So the towers and the beauty had to do the jumping jacks. I think the beauty was philbert. So after that, finally we could start our rock climbing. There were 2 types, one was slanting, one was straight wall. So our group, consisting the 4 of us and Yong Jing, 2g guy, we took turns to do the belaying all those, i think i was the 3rd or so to climb. Then once, Yong Jing accidentally slipped la, then Aaron was belaying, then philbert was anchorman. And compared to him, they're much lighter. Then philbert wasn't paying attention la, then both of them flew forward. Damn funny! I was the sporter, or however u spell it, then like actually he slipped once liao, then had to push him back up, then after he crossed the red line, then i retreated to the back, then he slipped again, that's when they flew forward. Very funny!!! Hahahahahaha, so all 5 of us managed to climb to the top of the slanting slope, then we decided to attempt the straight wall, because the other group right, consisted of all the fat people la, then they all couldn't even get past the red line. So first to climb was Yong Jing, then Aaron, then I climbed. Wah, it took me damn long and it was really tiring, because I had already climbed another wall earlier, so ya, finally managed to do it. So it was time for lunch liao. We were all really happy, we would get cooked food!! Instead of the buscuits la. (what kind of mobile camp is this?!) Not sure if i mentioned it, but I think the only thing mobile about this camp is the tents, and last night, when we had to stay at the ulu campsite. Other than that, we were either at camp 1, or camp 2, which had water, fascilities and everything, so rather lame. So anyway, can't remember what lunch consisted of, basically rather lousy food, but 10 times better than biscuits. Then after lunch... Hmm, what was after lunch? Oh ya, we were supposed to go and to the tripod la, but then it rained, so we were sent indoors to do the snake and ladder as well as the vertical logs. Philbert and I did the vertical logs la, then we were the 2nd group to do it. We were up there for like half an hour?! Because we're both rather short, or rather, I'm body short la. So first 3 had not much problem, I would climb first, then philbert climb. So like at every log, we would sit there and try to catch our breath back, because we both have really lousy sense of balance la, so like to us it's scary, not so much the height, but the fear of toppling over, even though we know there's the belay, but you know.. So like 3rd to 4th I could feel the strain of stretching my leg over the log. Then sit there, rest a while, then 4th to 5th right, I could swing my leg, but couldn't push myself over, so had to borrow Philbert's shoe to step on la, i mean, this was the final decision, we tried other ways before that, so like this was the one that worked in the end. So I had to reach over to grab Philbert's harness in order for him to get up, so like 5th log right? My body was too short to reach the 6th log, so i couldn't stand up. So philbert could reach la, so he stood up, then helped me up. Then 5th to 6th took quite a long time to accomplish. So like swing my leg over, then like kena stuck there, then let go of left leg, then hand there with just right leg and arms around the 6th log. Then Philbert stuck both his feet there, then I pushed off his 2 feet, as in, one on top of the other. So did the same, pulled his harness to get him up. So 6th log to 7th was the one where we probably spent like 1/3 of our time. We tried sooo many different ways to get to the top, the most plausible way was for me to step on his knees then swing my leg over la. But in your brain, you tell yourself that his legs are unstable, so no matter what you do, u can never get yourself to put all your pressure on his knees. So he tried it too, on me, but it was unsuccessful. So finally, we decided to descend. Wasted la, went all the way up till 6th log. So we didn't want to try the snake and ladder lah. Then got 2 other groups tried the log thingie. Chong Min and Deshawn. They like made it up to the 5th log without any help lor, so not fair. Then they both have very good sense of balance, so when they swing over and stuff, so not scared at all. So only from 5th to 6th, I think even so they didn't need any help from each other. So they couldn't get up on the 6th log, because I think their bodies weren't tall enough to reach the 7th log, whereas philbert could la, so at least we could stand on it. So they descended in the end too. Then Kelvin and Yong Jing went, then they crazy one la, like from ground to 1st log, they just pulled up on the 3rd log, then place legs on 2nd one, pull up on 4th log, place legs on 3rd one till like almost all the way la, except 5th to 6th, then they did the swing leg thingie. But from 6th to 7th, even them also couldn't do the swing leg thingie, so Kelvin managed to perform the "step-on-knee" thing, at which both philbert and i were rather shocked. Then Yong Jing had problem getting up la, because he couldn't even swing his legs over. So he ended up jumping up and hugging the 7th log, and just like a kuala bear la. Then Kelvin reached over and pulled his harness such that he'd rotate around the log and be on top of it instead of below. Wah, really pei fu them lor. But aiya, they both had advantages la, both in physic and strength as well as height. So oh well... I can't quite remember what happened next.. Oh, I think it was around 4pm then, and we were supposed to pitch our tents, and bathe by dinner. And we also had to elect the sea expedition leader, which was me, philbert, aaron and kelvin. Aaron and Kelvin were mostly the planning side, while me and philbert did more of the sea expedition itself. That one'll elaborate on Day 4. So we had dinner, then after that, everone was sent back to the tents, except for the 4 of us plus the 2 hilary sea ex leaders. So we were briefed on it and stuff, like told the dangers of the sea, tell us the route, er, then they wanted us to like go and discuss, then see what time we would have to wake up, how long we'll take, about the tide flows. So like after briefing, it was supper time, so we went up, didn't have supper because dinner was hardly 1 hour ago. So we planned, the 5 of us, because I think one of the Hilary sea ex leader, Rahul had a stomach ache, so he wasn't there most of the time. In the end he backed out, and didn't go kayaking the next day, Benedict took over, but didn't know anything because he only took over the next day. So anyway, we discussed, then finally after supper and all the groups left, then we had to clean up the place, because it was our duty to. So ended up going back at like 10 plus, but before leaving the place, we briefed them on what to pack and stuff. So like everyone was supposed to pack EVERYTHING into their bags, including helmets and harnesses. Mainly it was the life jackets and ponchos that couldn't be packed in, but life jackets, we would be wearing them the next day, and ponchos, we were supposed to get someone's bag, and put his stuff into other people's bag and stuff all 15 ponchos inside. So I volunteered my bag, because I realized I didn't have that many things after all. So this thing, we didn't involve the other tents, so my stuff were split among Aaron, Philbert and Kelvin. So then after that was done, we got ready to sleep, and that's how day 3 ended....

Woah shit, just realized how long this entry is, and it's just on ONE DAY! Let me go see how many words there are... Ooo, 2316.. Hey hey! I decided that the previous picture had been flying around for a while, so I changed it! It's a Boeing 777-300, not like anyone here'll know what i'm talking about except maybe jevon. So today was the first day where lessons "officially" started. But I mean, like not really either. Chinese Mdm Ong went around talking about names, and in the end she gave us our first homework of the year! Which was to do an essay on your name, like it's origin and stuff. Argh, it's totally different if it's and essay that's on origin of names. Then just go google and type "origin of names" then surely got essay there one. Can go print out, then either use Han Shen to translate or translate it yourself. Well, i don't have han shen so i guess i'll have to translate it myself. But anyway, the topic isn't that, so i can't do it so no point thinking of it. So next was Philosophy, our teacher is Dennis Au. The guy who came in for like 5 minutes to talk to us yesterday then we were dismissed for recess. So basically he went through what he was supposed to go through yesterday, and we also had to discuss whether or not philosophy should be studied in RP. So ya, 4 in a group, then discuss discuss then he'll write down on the board at the end, then finish. So next was maths, there was a little confusion there, because 3E and 3F were supposed to interchange classes, like the advanced all go 3F, the non-advanced people would go 3E. So i went 3E, and sat next to Jevon. So my maths teacher is Mrs Tan Mui Hong. She's this rather old woman, with amole somewhere on her face, can't remember, but obviously it's not as obvious as quah's one. So, she's rather fierce and strict, but in terms of teaching she's good. Like she says that we don't have to bring our textbooks, because they're heavy, and they'll only be used for homework. But if she were to use examples from the textbook in class right, then she'll type it out. Then she also say that whatever info that is worth giving to us, she'll put it on Asknlearn. So ya la, we can go download all the notes and all those. But aiya, this year the pop quizzes, we won't have prior notice. I mean, i guess it makes sense la, a pop quiz is supposed to be a suprise. So she basically went through the rules of the class, change our seating arrangement, i didn't get changed, and then gave out this worksheet for us to do. So have to do it by tomorrow. Bleaugh. Anyway, after that it was recess. Ate like speghetti (how to spell?), then arrived back in class a little late. Fiona Chong, geog teacher, was already there la. So dunno if she knows i'm monitor, but who cares. She didn't care. So when finally every arrived, then she wanted us to split up into groups of 6 and write words that you think of when you see "weather studies". So ya la, like think of any words that are related. So after writing down most of what we could think, then she ask us to transfer everything to the vanguard sheet la, which was actually rather small. Then end of lesson. Oh ya, did i mention that we are going like 3 field trips liao la. One is to the Meteorological Centre, which is right next to Changi Airport runway!!!! Ahhh!!! So fun!! And then she say also might go to the control tower. Hope we do! Wah, so fun.. This is on the 25th Feb. Then also going to watch some omnimax theatre shows, I think 2 of them, on the 27th of Jan. Then lastly is going to Changi Beach (changi airport again!!) or East Coast park there. More for the study of the sea la, like the sea water and stuff. So ya lor, quite fun. And they have also planned an overseas trip to New Zealand, it's scheduled for 28th May to 6th June, dunno if I can go. But aiya, if it's just geog trip right, then maybe not so fun, because don't have all the 2H people. But oh well, I guess it'll be fun with my new classmates! Haha. So well, after that was RE. Man, first time taking attendance in the LT. Ooo, take so long. 1stly, I didn't know all my classmate's names, 2ndly, they weren't exactly sitting next to each other. Then didn't realize one guy was absent, so kept looking around for him =P Then another one, didn't even know who he was, then realized it was one of the Malaysian scholars. Then the last guy, Stanley (argh! Scar.....) was seated at some ulu place until Kelvin spotted. For a moment I forgot he was secretary, then i kept wondering why he kept helping me find people in the class. Then the treasurer useless one la. So anyway, sat on the steps after that, then like since it was totally empty, then like stretch my legs, so shuang. Haha, luckily none of the teachers scolded me. So yup, after that they announced that afternoon RE was cancelled. Oh ya, btw, my group is kb, shawn, nic and me. We managed to finalize it today, and oh well, so tomorrow I shall go online and form the group. Oh ya, tomorrow hor, is the trials for sec 3 badminton, so jevon, I and this ex-2G guy will be going!! Ack, wish me good luck. The 2G guy is same as jev i think, in badminton, but never go but i think got outside training. But oh well, hope I can get in la, then this stupid CCA thing is once and for all cleared. So now waiting for my aunty to come home, then we'll go to Mitsubishi and finally sign the deal to buy the Lancer for her. Tomorrow they will raise the price by like $1000, so today we're going. Yup, maybe i'll blog about OBS later tonight, since I don't want to get started on it and then get stopped halfway, aunty should be here anytime. Besides, using big computer now, so the keyboard is wireless and not as responsive as my laptop, sooooo... I'd rather use my laptop. So see ya all tonight!!

Back from OBS

Hey hey you small tuna fishes! I'm BACK! Haha, sorry for taking sooo long to update, it's like 3 days after OBS right. But ya lor, I had no time or no mood to update my blog. So anyway, I'm the monitor of 3F!!! Ahahahahah!!! Like anyone would have expected crazy christopher to be a monitor right. But well, i guess that 2H was a little help to me this year, because like all my classmates are all the muggerish mild people, whereas 2H is the crazy rowdy class. So like during OBS and stuff I would always be more rowdy la, then well, not sure if people know but my voice is actually very loud. So ya lor, well.... Very happy! And the funny thing is that Kelvin and this guy called Sylvester are the secretary and treasurer respectively la. They they're both like Kelvin that size, in fact sylvester is a little taller. And imagine ME, standing in the centre! So ya lor, when quah asked us to stand there, then the whole class started laughing. Hmph. So embarassing. Hahahaha. So anyway, it's already like almost 11pm now, but I'm still rather awake and hyper because of the 1 half hour nap I took this afternoon. So anyway, I guess all those not in my watch are dying to know how things went around. (like real) Hahaha. Oh wellz, so here goes!!

Day 1 (4th January)
I shall skip the part in school because it's basically the same as everyone elses. So anyway, at the MPH in Camp 2 right, we were allocated our instructor. Her name is Elgene. I mean, what kind of name is that right? Ok so anyway, she has a tongue ring. Rather interesting, managed to get her to show it to us on the last day, but she had replaced it with a plastic pin, for safety purposes, though I can't exactly tell how much safer it could be =S Having a tongue ring is already so dangerous. And she has 4 rings on her left ear, one on her right. So anyway, we were intruduced to her. Then she damn slow one la, everything also slow slow, walk also rather slow. So in the end, administration stuff was done, photos were taken, then it was time to show us around our storeroom. Btw, our watch was called "armstrong". So she has this ultra annoying habit to call us, for example "Mr Christopher arm-very-the-strong" or "Mr Philbert arm-very-the-strong." I tell you ah, u listen to it for 5 days u wanna kill her already. Then she also damn egoistic la. First 3 days, counted like 15 times she praise herself. After that, I lost count. So.. Our watch was suprisingly rather cooperative and organized. Like we decided to split our food into separate bags for each person. Like everyone will receive the same amount la, because I think the list they gave us got show like who gets what everyday. So we all had to donate a plastic bag and like half the watch will separate the food. The other half were sent to check the stuff in the storeroom. So I was in that half, and we went around checking the tents, tub, harnesses blah di blah la. Make sure they were in good working condition. Then also, Clement was sent home, because I think the OBS people deemed him unfit for OBS. Seems like the doctors said ok, but the OBS ones didn't. But really, i doubt he would have been able to carry the hiking bags. Bleaugh. And our sleeping arrangement would be a little screwed up, because then one of us would have to go with another group. So anyway, we decided to allocate a number to each person, for life jackets and bags. Like I was AS(armstrong)06, philbert was number 5 blah blah blah. For the tents also la, like Kelvin, Aaron, Philbert and my tent was AS02. So in that case, we all wouldn't get mixed up. So anyway, our first activity after lunch, and packing all our stuff was learning how to kayak. So we had to change into our wet shoes, which in my case were the climacools. My first pair, the white and blue ones. So finally at like only 3pm then we managed to make our way down to learn the capsizing stuff. Our group was damn slow la, Jevon they all and the other watch had already learnt and were going to leave the area to practice saving each other at some deeper waters. So we learnt how to empty the kayaks of water, how to capsize (though for what reason i don't know) the kayak and other stuff la. Finally we left the place to some marshy area, rather shallow, like can stand in the water, and practiced the capsizing and saving drill. I was partnered with philbert, i sat in front. I'll elaborate on philbert and me kayaking another time. So anyway, finally managed to get it done, like saved 2 kayaks? Ok, not a lot. But anyway, so we left and went back to camp, other groups were already cooking dinner and pitched their tents la. So we had to keep the kayaks then proceed to pitch our tents and stuff. Then that stupid elgene didn't even bother teaching us how to pitch our stupid tents la. Then so we spent like over an hour to pitch the first tent, while 2 people like cooked the maggi noodles. So the other 3 tents took much shorter time to build (ours was the first) and then finally like the last 2 had to be pitched in the dark. I bet like the first night right, the tent pegs were probably not even half way shoved into the ground. Luckily the tent didn't collapse. So we went to bathe, and then slept. It rained that night, and well the tent had water inside. Oh yeah, I asked elgene and she told me why the tents get water inside. I mean, a tent is supposed to be shelter right, how can water get in. So she says it's that most people pitch the fly sheets with only the corners tied down. So when it rains, the fly sheets can't hold the water and tends to stick to the tent itself. So rain plus wind is cold right? And inside is hot and humid with 4 people. And so condensation forms. So it's actually condensation, and not water comes in. So if you tie the centre portion down, the fly sheet has no chance of sticking to the tent, and so condensation won't form. So yeah, that's the reason why water can "seep" into the tent. So we took rather long to sleep, because the campsite had a lot of people, so everyone was talking among each other la, then of course that aaron will play a fool. Then I was just lying there trying my best to sleep then finally slowly dosed off.

Day 2 (5th January)
So I woke up really late, at like 7am. Ok la, not that late. We woke up earlier, at 6 plus. But then it was raining raining raining. So we 4 didn't know if everyone had left the tents yet, so eventually at 7 we decided we should leave. So we got ready our ponchos and then left the tent. And well, I didn't expect the storerooms there to be filled with so many people. I mean, probably because I slept through the noise of people waking up and leaving the tents, so I thought they were all sleeping still. So anyway, we reached there. Then ate breakfast. The plan was to meet our instructor at 8am. So because it rained, then we decided to meet at 8.30 i think, then we were supposed to make a pack list for a 3 day 2 night expedition including all our climbing gear as well as wet attire. So gong us went to pack everything into our camp bags. We each packed our stuff individually la, so like only the group food, for dinner, which was like rice and all, or the jerry cans then people take turns to carry. Whereas clothes and our own harnesses, or life jackets and stuff were all ownself carry. So we were told to be in our climbing attire, then we met her when the rain stopped in the MPH. So she heard about us packing our bag. Then she was like "aiyo, I told you all to make a packing list, not pack your bags. So ok, now onto our next task, which is to unpack your bags." Then we were like all "huh?!?!?!" Then she said "no la, kidding only la." Hmph, what a twit. I guess it's hard to type out her and our expressions la, but at that time we all really weren't sure whether or not she was joking. Haha, so I think after that was doing some lame activities. First one was some egg, chicken, eagle, superman, immortal game. Where you start as an egg, then u scissors paper stone with another egg, then if you win u upgrade to a chicken. Then you must find another chicken to play with, then upgrade to an eagle. If you lose, then you downgrade. So once you become an immortal, then you finish la. So that Wei Xun damn loser la, he ended up being the only egg left, then he couldn't play with anyone. Hahaha. So after that game, it was this "put body part to colour" game. Oh ya, and all this was done with our buddy watch "Hilary". So like one of them was Ears to yellow. Then my pants was blue and yellow. So next thing knew, like 5 people came and hugged my legs. So i was totally rooted to the spot la. So then this guy go and squeeze my butt la. Then another one while standing there started scratching my leg. But aiyo. So i kena stuck there, couldn't put my ear to anything yellow. So i saw this like decomposing leaf which was yellow, so i asked one of the huggers to pick it up for me. So ok lor, i was safe, as well as stuck to the ground. So after that we split up from hilary. And we did this stupid blindfold thingie. Where like one guy is blindfolded, the other leads him on. So since we were odd number right, 2 of us were leading this Darren around la. Then he had lost his voice, due to dunno what. So when it was his turn to lead both of us, he said sore throat. So I ended up with Stanley la. Stupid la he, wah i tell you ah, he's the most annoying person on earth. Argh! Some 2G guy who talks a LOT but doesn't do ANYTHING lor. Argh. So he didn't tell me there was a drain in front, and i just walked into the bloody drain. In the end like had a large abrasion (that's what elgene calls it) on my left shin. Damn bloody pain. And Stanley's like "what! It's not my fault what." Yeah right, as though leading 2 people around is so hard. Because Darren had no voice to lead 2 people, so stanley went to lead 2 people. Argh, so damn pain la. So finally Elgene asked me to put gauze on it and paste it down lor. Seriously damn pain, and i bet by the time it's healed, I will have an ugly scar to remind me of OBS. Which isn't bad, but bad in the sense that i got it in such a STUPID way. Argh, still feel like murdering Stanley now. Stupid small eyed fat guy. Hmph. So after that, it was time to learn how to belay. So we got our harnesses and helmets, and Hilary joined us again. Their instructor, Kim Chuan, the fat one, not the Yh's thin one, was the one teaching us how to tie our harness and stuff. While Elgene was busy rigging up the ropes to the rock wall. So finally we were done, then they taught us all the belaying calls and stuff, then it was time to climb. Then I was the last of the 5 to climb, then i climb then immediately like reach the top la. The wall was really short, totally meant for learning the belaying only. So anyway, some people might wonder why i climb the wall so well la. I guess it's because I have prior experience, like in Canada while skiing there's also a place where we can go to climb the wall. Then they got teach you like how to climb, where to put your foot and stuff. Though I don't really remember anything, I guess it's just an experience thingie. And oh ya, my family have very good rock wall climbers. Like charmain and Cons all can climb walls very well. So after that we played this river game. Or was it before the rock climbing? Not sure. So anyway, the rules of this game is that only 1 guy can wear this cap, and only he can walk across the river, which is this square grid. So the guy can only walk across the river once, in either direction. So we can't like get the person to stay in the centre, coz he has to be going from one end to the other. And we can't throw the cap or anything to the other side. So objective is the get everyone across the river. So the only way we could think of was to carry everyone over la. But then coz if carry one over, then that guy come back, then another one carry him back, then mah fan, coz no one can come back liao. So like i think there were quite a lot of people who had to carry 2 people. Like one guy'll piggy-back on the other, then another one'll grab him from the front, then they stagger stagger across the river. So do do do, ended up that I was the last guy to cross the river. Then I had to carry 1 guy only la, then after we finish like everyone was cheering and clapping. Very funny. So I think we had lunch, then packed our things for the hike. Wah, our bags were SUPER heavy. Crazyness. So then Philbert and Chong Min were the navigators for the hike, then we like sat around, then she told us that we had to find 3 checkpoints then finally we'll reach our campsite. So finally, we left the place. Hilary by then had already left la. I think they were supposed to be on the same route. But anyway, we left, then finally after 2 hours we reached the campsite. So the first checkpoint, oh ya, we were supposed to find the checkpoint, and at the checkpoints right, there'll be like this pink paper stuck to a tree and it'll have like words of wisedom on it. So like the first checkpoint there, there was this tombstone la! Damn scary. Like we emerge from the trees, then suddenly it appear. So most of us were staring at the tombstone, then i was looking around, then spotted the words of wisedom. Then so the 1st checkpoint was done. Then we continued our journey to the 2nd checkpoint, i think it was like 300 m away. So quite fast, then we reached the place, then like couldn't find the stupid words of wisedom. Then Elgene was like "you're so close, yet so far.." Then she was sitting right in front of this pathway into the trees. But we had already gone in there mah. So while we all were figuring out where it could be, I think Hu Ching wandered up the path slightly, and there, on the first tree right next to the road was the words of wisedom. So we hiked in all the way for no use! When the stupid thingie was actually just facing the other side of the tree. So ya, we were on the way for the 3rd checkpoint, which was like 900 m away. Bleaugh. Oh ya, and Kelvin and Aaron were carrying the Jerry Cans, and philbert was "Oh i'm the navigator" so poor me had to carry the ground sheet, and the tent. Argh, so f**king heavy la. I mean, I volunteered to carry the ground sheet, but ended up carrying the tent as well. Hmph, at least philbert was carrying my water bottle for me. So we finally reached the 3rd checkpoint, and the words of wisedom was quite easy to find la, then we left, and reached the resevoir (how to spell?). So the campsite was like from this ultra small "road" pathway, more like, which was like had knee length grass on all the sides la. So if you don't look closely, you would miss it. So it's like walk through the grass, then up a slope, then tada! There's a big space there. So Hilary wasn't there yet. They got lost for 2 hours i think. I think in the first place they left by the wrong entrance at camp 2. So this time Elgene taughted us how to pitch our tents, although we roughly knew already la. Oh ya, and that's when I asked her about the water leaking in and all those. So in our watch it was each tent for their own la. So like 4 of us will pitch our tent, the rest will pitch their own tents. So Kelvin and Aaron would be at the sides holding up the poles, while philbert and I will go around tying the twine to the pegs, and I would be the one knocking the thing in. I mean, the tent is something that concerns me and my comfort, so obviously I'd rather it be in my own hands, so I rather enjoyed pegging the tent in and making sure everything was nice and tight, esp the fly sheet. So some pegs that couldn't be shoved into the ground, we had to use a stone la, and I would ask Kelvin if it really couldn't be stuck in. So Darren cooked the rice for us, then we ate with can food. Then the can food also, it's more of a "each tent to his own" stuff. Like the first day we split up the food right, then people didn't want to take more than the allocated 2 can food because "it's too heavy". So aaron and me had no choice, we just took lor. So we ate it la, they don't want to take it's their business. So we had quite a filling dinner. Rather satisfying, though the rice was rather hard. Haha, but at home I eat rice with brown rice so it's also rather crunchy, so wasn't that bad for me. So philbert being the decorator and prim and proper one, decided to lay out the ponchos on the tent ground because the tent was still a little wet, and sandy i think. So then Hilary arrived while we were eating dinner, and had to pitch their tent in dark. Dunno why Philbert like very keen on whether Hilary is coming. Then he also keep saying like dunno what wanna help them to pitch their tent all those. Actually hor, I think it's because his friend is there la. The Benedict the swimmer guy. But oh well, not my place to comment, though I guess most people should get the gist......... SO, moving on. We went to meet Elgene, and then she told us that we had to wash our pots and mash tins and stuff, so she brought us to this bridge that led to no where, at least that's what it looked like in the night. Then along the bridge there was this portion where a large drain, more like a canal ran under. So we were supposed to fill our jerry cans up and then use the water to wash our stuff. Oh by the way, we were near the resevoir, so there was the generators there, so that's where the instructors had their tents, or rather, tent, (yes, elgene and kim chuan shared ONE tent) pitched. Theirs is those collapsable type lor. Like just unfold then it'll stand up, don't even need to peg it down unless it's like uneven ground. So there obviously have water, so that's where we got our water from. So ya lor, had to wash our pots and mash tins with soil, to get rid of the oil. But it didn't really work though, so well, got my hands dirty for nothing. Then Philbert went to throw Aaron's fork down by accident. Tsk tsk tsk. So finally it was done, then we went back to the tent, then called it a day. But right, during the night, got dogs came la. Because some of the people left the empty can food and their mash tins out in the open la. Then got once right, I think a dog was rummaging around the can food, which was near my tent there. Then I guess la, another dog came and tried to eat, then the first dog bark and it and like bite it la, then the 2nd dog whined a lot and ran away. So that woke up me like xiao. I like jolted awake and immediately curled into a ball la. Then like heart was beating damn fast. Then i looked around right, philbert was still busy snoring away. Sigh.... But other tents, I could hear commotion la, so at least i wasn't like u know, hearing things. So ya, that was the only scary thing that night. And the only night that we didn't get to bathe. So ya, next day is day 3 which I think I shall only continue tomorrow or something. It's already 11.50pm now! Oh my god. Ok la, I'll see everyone around. Tomorrow lessons are starting..
