Omgosh i'm finally home! Haha. And omgosh i'm super stressed coz i've a million and 1 things due tomorrow. ><><>< I should have brought. Confirm do finish one lor. I mean, all i have is like my ipod and the tv (which is in jap) so that's not really very entertaining. Usually we bum around together but since they were so caught up in work i was so bored.

So anyway. I have a pile of things to do and i'm screwed. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Okay you know changi airport automatic taps are the best I've ever met. I generally hate automatic taps actually, because most of the time the sensors are rather pok then i look so dumb waving my hand in front of a tap trying to get it to turn on. And half the time i'm wondering 'is this an auto tap or not?' Later turn out not then i look like some idiot ><

Omg omg okay stress stress. Singapore is damn hot btw. Pilot announced it was 31 degrees and i was like WHAT that's like 40 degrees temperature change!! I came home, showered (>< no more time for baths!!) and promptly turned on the aircon haha. Okay i need to get back to singapore time. Oh man. Ahhhhhhhhhh omg tmr got school! 'Thank goodness' that there's take 5 on friday so 1 day of lessons cancelled. Is that good? Less work due i suppose HAHA. Okay omg this weekend i'm going to pia like some cow okay. Cannot be slave omgomgomg (hee only 1 person will know what i mean)

So my flight tomorrow is at 10am so since the drive from ski resort to airport is like 4 hours i'm totally waking up at 3am and leaving here at 4am to drive 4 hours to reach airport at 8am in time for check in woot.

Anyone who's free and bored and finishes school early like 12.30pm coughfugucough can come and pick me up whee. I think my flight lands at 3.45pm from Nagoya. Yay. LOL.

Anyway. Things i do in japan that i don't do at home :

1. Take 1 hour long baths in the bath tub everday
2. Eat a scoop or more than 1 scoop of haagan dazs ice cream a day ><
3. Read one story a night (oh crap my sis just came out of toilet she's gonna chase me away)
4. Get chased away from the computer I'm using.

Just to make Julian envious. I just had THE best jap food in the world. Seriously no japanese restaurant can beat food in japan man. I think it's not really the restaurants/chef? But that the raw food itself is simply better in japan. I suppose all raw fish/beef exported to singapore is the lower quality ones. So anyway yes the dinner was damn damn damn good okay i almost popped. I am going to sit in a corner for the next 4 hours and let my food digest. Yay.



So i have had about 4 days in japan so far and unfortunately had about 7 blonde moments already. ><



1. At immigration, the guy totally took out this voucher from behind the counter (after i passed him my passport) that had this big 50 cent euro thing on it. So i stared at it for damn long and couldn't decide what it was coz the language on the voucher wasn't in jap or english. So then i went up to my siblings and went 'hey look! I totally got a voucher! Did you guys get one?' So they replied no then my sister took one look at it and went 'Uh, it says Vienna on it.' So that's when i realised it was a voucher given to me in vienna last year which ended up in my passport -.-



2. I was in the supermarket and i took a basket. Walked for about 2 metres when a basket dropped from the basket i was holding onto the floor. Oops. Didn't realise i took 2 baskets by accident.



3. In a restaurant, i went up to the door and there was a sticker that said 'automatic'. But it totally didn't open. So i went up to my sis and said 'um. I don't wanna look stupid. Can you open the door??' She went up to the door, pressed a button on the door and it opened. -.- So obviously i said (incredulously) 'Hello it says automatic! It's obviously not automatic if i have to press a buton to open it!! Anyway the 'push here' button was in jap. As if i read jap (rolls eyes).'



4. Sis and i were sitting next to each other in snow waiting for dad to drive car over. I said 'Ouch i think i pulled a hemstring.' So i uncrossed my left leg and totally whacked my sister's knee and she screamed in pain and i was like 'um. oops. sorry didn't know my leg was that long' Upon which she screamed at me blah blah blah and her knee still hurts now.

So anyway. Today was super nice because it was snowing the whole day. It was like thick FAT snowflakes omgosh. But after a while they became small and thin. Omg k a huge pile of snow just fell off the roof past my window onto the ground. o.O Cool stuff man. I love blogger's autosave function. If not for it my 7 blond moments would have been deleted because i accidentally pressed the back button. Hmm does that make blonde moment number 8?? Anyway my sister's laptop is really small like 10 inch screen or something. Not my fault my fingers are too fat -.- K so anyway yes i shall go off and drink uh water and then read my super exciting book.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR FROM JAPAN!

Anyhow just had 1st day of skiing and gosh i'm super duper fat and unfit LOL. It snowed lightly last night =)) And after lunch just now it became really cloudy and misty so that kinda pissed us off so we decided to stop skiing because it's difficult to ski when you can't see where you're going.

Lalala so i'm rather tired now my feet hurt too ><

It sucks to be sick and go skiing at the same time. My nose keeps dripping and my sinuses are rather painful because of the constant pressure changes as we take the ski chair up and ski down. Ya then all the air pockets inside which are trapped by the mucus expand and contract then ouch very pain ><

I also came to the conclusion that the next place i go has to be during summer time! Last few times i went overseas have all been winter time then quite >< Very cold!!

Okay hahahaha i should stop whining because i get to go overseas in the first place already =D Aiya k i should go and shower too.

Okay so i typed this post about camp and decided at 'external activity' that it was crap and so i deleted everything.

I'm not going to describe what happened during the camp, because I think everyone here who's reading my blog probably was there haha if you weren't then you totally.. suppe. =))))))

Basically the camp was just great. Of course it was very stressful for me, but to see everything turn out well and fine was also very gratifying la. I think i really got the know some of the J1s really much more, and it was also fun to spend time with some J2s whom i don't spend so much time with. Omg i really love dontknow okay. We're damn pro. =D

Aiya anyway i didn't really blog earlier about camp because i was still reflecting about some stuff that happened during camp. It's still not done yet. But since I'm like leaving for airport in about half an hour, just decided to post something xD. Btw, if you don't know, I'm going to Japan and only coming back next Tuesday. Missing 2 days of school >.< Back in time for chorale prac though!! =))

I guess at this point in time, I would just like to say that some people (myself included) have to trust people more and well in a way try not to do everything themselves. It is alright to ask if there's uncertainty. Sometimes, when we're working alone, fine, make mistakes it doesn't affect people. But when we're working as a group, sometimes it saves time and energy simply to ask and maybe the answer is right there, without having to go one whole big round and wasting time ending up getting nowhere.

Yup. Anyway i really truly am proud of our entire batch. I think everyone did a great job and I am very sure it would have shone through to the J1s.

I know i should be happy that I get to go holidays now and stuff. But a part of me is still very worried about what I'm leaving behind here for the next 7 days >< That's 1 week! Zomg. Ah well okay haha.

Wahh i woke up today with like a bit sore throat again and spammed panadol cold coz my nose was blocked. Maths test was just O.o but i don't think i'll fail very badly la. Maybe like 12/25 or something. =) Seee how. Xian. Anyway rest of day passed by rather happily. Oh i realize i have completely switched off during econs lessons already. Which is obviously bad. But i think i need to like read my notes or something? Because i like totally don't understand anything that's going on. So end up i just have random choir songs playing in my head throughout the entire 1 hour. Haha. Today was sarba dance playing in my head. Woot.

At first didn't want to sing for chorale but decided my throat felt better so i just went to sing. Then luckily i did, because somehow my sore throat is completely gone now after singing. That tends to happen. Why ah? Is it sing sing sing then loosen the muscles? Don't most people get sore throat AFTER singing? Usually my throat feels best after a choir practice for some reason. Like all nice and warmed up and i feel like i can shout/scream/sing anything. Yay!

Okay but now my flu seems to be coming back. -.- -spams panadol cold-

Anyway go check this recording of voicedance out! Nice but i think it's rather difficult to pull off. Plus the notes and modulation at the back part of the song (which we never go to) are actually quite difficult. Hmm..

Hello! Haha i woke up today to find that i had muscle ache at the sides of my stomach. Like just below the rib cage there. I strongly suspect it was um all the super loud singing i was doing after chorale prac yesterday (which also resulted in a very mild sore throat which luckily is almost gone now =D) and also from all the laughter induced when Julian was using the mic and attempting to teach us how to use the projector xD. (I remember having muscle cramp from laughing actually..)

So anyway today was a rather -.- day until econs test was over then it's like the clouds cleared or something. I was feeling really gloomy because I've been like sleeping in econs tutorials and i completely don't understand a single thing. So i just like tried to pia and mug throughout the entire day and ask people what this meant what that meant. So um i think i am smarter now yay.

Anyway afternoon was spent kinda stoning because me having no artistic sense at all couldn't really help with whatever we were doing (heehee..) at the chorale table. Well i did cut one sheet of paper for deb =D Ok then i proceeded to try to do my comprehension then went home at 4.30pm. My parents were on the way home from malaysia so they just dropped by and fetched me home. And i slacked all the way until like 6.30 -.- and i just finished my comprehension (is so proud of myself). Later need to do physics tutorial (sigh) and try to do SATs (SIGH). Omg i can't wait for SATs to be over. It's quite sad. Don't think I'll do well but I think because i want to study in the US i'll definitely need SATs so that means I'll have to retake again and go through this annoying phase one more time -.- Okay the next time I take it (if i have to) i will STUDY!

Okay i'm like super hungry now okay i am going to look for food. Byee!

School sucks okay. Like seriously. Urgh. Anyway i had a majorly depressing morning and thank goodness chorale came along and cheered me up like 10000000%. Yay you know for having many people without choral background joining us, I don't think we sound half as bad i feared (ahem heh). No la but it's really heartening and encouraging to see the J1s so serious about chorale and learning scores. Like a certain mrlowwuyangcough had solfege written on his scores and stuff then i was like oooo =))

Yar so anyway I'm very sure all of us are able to work together to improve as individuals, sections, and of course as a choir. Omgosh so exciting just thinking about concert and everything! =)) Haha lalalala.

Okay but anyway school sucks in general i simply can't wait for spastic SATs to be over this saturday. Omg i think i'm going to fail like some cow and get like damn low okay. My english really sucks like some min si and i keep getting like a million wrong. -.- Ok whatever if i fail like some bennett then i'll just like retake sometime soon. Perhaps in army. LOL.

Woot i successfully conned my dad into giving me $50! =DD

Okay so after school ended at 1230 today my parents brought me out to eat lunch at Sushi Tei at thomson plaza. The food there's even better than the taka outlet lor even though it's new. Yay yummy. Anyway while we were lounging around waiting for my mum to finish looking at stuff i sidled up to my dad. xD

"Oi Dad, i'm damn poor can you give me money?? -smiles sweetly-'

"Huh, there's an ATM here what, go and draw la"

Ok so i am damn freaking tired now i feel like snoozing but SATs are like in freaking uh, 4 days time and i suck majorly at it. So, i need to go and do. Omg.

Whee! Today's sermon was super interesting okay. Haha.

Ok anyway. After church i came home and decided it's time to um, clear some things up at home. So haha k first thing i went to dig Lumpy out from his sleep and dumped him into the hamster ball to let him roll around. Then i dismantled his entire cage, and proceeded to dump all the bedding away and washed his cage (ok my maid washed it la..). Poor guy was so freaked out that he like shet in the hamster ball so i had to wash that too. Anyway yar i think he suffered from severe trauma in the 10 mins it took to wash and clean his cage. So anyway then filled it with new bedding and everything then yay he is now happy and back in his nice, clean, nice-smelling cage. Snoozing now of course.

Nana's bedding wasn't changed too long ago so didn't change it today. Anyway i've run out of bedding so i've got to buy new one. -.- Oh man i'm totally overspending LOL i need to eat less (90% of my money is spent on food). No more din tai feng with gerald liao =( We totally have to downgrade okay? =D

K so then i demanded that my sister return my table back to the library. After promos she promptly stole my table while i was out one day. Of course i didn't object like who cares haha promos were over but uh i think now if i wanna start trying to study then i cannot use computer anymore. =( Ok so anyway she didn't return my table -.- but merely cleared another table that was in the room and placed it at the spot where my table used to be. But okay whatever at least i've some place to study. Xian. Hate studying......

Um oh yes then i unplugged my computer and opened it and took out the motherboard battery and replaced it with a new one! Yay. The computer has been showing signs of being unable to boot up haha i think because the battery is flat. It happened before, like last year. Then i couldn't use the computer for 2 days until i went to buy a new battery -.- So k decided to change it now before it died on me. Signs of battery going flat includes the clock on my computer resetting to sometime in 2005 LOL. Yayy. So okay but anyway my computer is some heavy shit la. Dunno what rubbish is inside haha. I remember going with my bro in sec 3 or something to buy it then he wanted some super powerful gaming computer for playing WoW. Then eventually he gave it to me =DD. Yayz k i am going to bug my brother to bring me to buy a microphone, like those nice pro type that can capture surround sound then can record choirs. Yay. Wonder how much it'll cost? K nevermind my brother is some rich shit. He's busy sailing to Jakarta now =(

Anyway yayyy my parents are home again. How odd that as i grow older, i miss them more and more whenever they go overseas. Haha. Ok it can't be a bad thing anyway.

Haha. Yar so i went out for dinner with him and Yeow hua and wai kuan, and it was really good to meet up with them. Didn't realise how much we've neglected each other and how much i missed them until we were just bitching and gossiping to each other haha. I guess it's been a long time, really, since we were classmates in sec 1 and 2. Remember all the times we squeezed into my car to go to J8, and the twice weekly lunches we had before grumbling to 3rd lang. Pity Lizheng couldn't come for dinner. Haiya yar. But i guess because we split in classes, and our CCAs are all rather different, it's inevitable that we drift apart and all. But hopefully our friendship will never end though. =)

I think it's emo period now. I'm feeling really tired, and tomorrow's chorale where all the new J1s are joining us. Yet i'm not sleeping. Am i worried? Yes. Think sometimes maybe i worry too much about things that aren't in my hands. Sometimes when we've done all we can already, it's really not up to us anymore the outcome. And we just have to wait and see. But maybe that's just why it's so sad, because there's nothing we can do. Aiya okay paradox.

I just hope things settle down quickly and people make up their minds and then we can live in peace and harmony and get down to proper work. What we have been given may not be perfect, but it's our job to make sure they become perfect, so that we don't leave behind a liability (LOL) when we leave.

I guess maybe i'm just a bit disappointed. But there's nothing much that can really be done.

Amagad but it looks like a pig so i didn't realise it was a cow until i saw the tag that said 'cow bolster' despite the fact that it had horns and a black and white body. =D

I am looking forward to my dinner because my parents bought a very nice fish which i really like! I've no idea what it's called in english though. Okay wubber i want ice cream too. Woot.

Wooot! I have, for the first time in my 5 years and 1 week studying in RI/RJC taken a bus and walked home safely by myself! Everyone, please faint and die or cheer for me now. =D

Anyway, the past few times i took bus home or public transport home, either my sister or my dad would happen to be on the way home from wherever they were (that's why they couldn't pick me up in the first place) so they managed to drive me from bus stop home, or i was with friends (like pigface).

So here are interesting facts i learnt today.

1. The bus stop opposite RJ near bradell westlake is damn freaking far from block A.
2. Don't look at the bus stop while crossing the overhead bridge because you won't feel so bad about missing your bus since you didn't look so you didn't know you had to run for the bus.
3. I didn't miss my bus!
4. I got on the right bus!
5. I got off at the right stop!
6. The walk home from the bus stop is 10 times as far as the walk from block A to bus stop opposite RJC.
7. It's weird walking past bunches of Hwa Chong people.
8. It's fun to go 'yoooohooooo' when you walk past julian's house.
9. I hate the damn slope leading to my house
10. There were, sadly, no squashed frogs on my driveway.

I had a super bad headache in school today and ended up falling asleep during econs tutorial then when i woke up i felt very bad because like it was already my maths teacher teaching away then i was like oops. Anyway haha my maths teacher is going at an insane speed i totally need to do my homework okay. Wah xian.

Anyway H3 at hwa chong was an interesting experience. Haha. Despite it being contemporary physics, the first thing the guy taught us was about cells and DNA and stuff and we were all like o.O Then after that he moved on to bonding between atoms and all those covalent ionic blah blah blah and i was just o.O-ing all the time because none of it looked remotely physics. Omgosh. Anyway the topic we were studying was like 'biophysics' so um i guess that explains the bio part but the chemistry part??

Okay i have had many cravings today don't know why. I drank 2 bottles of blackcurrent with aloe vera. I felt very strongly that i wanted to eat egg for dinner. I couldn't resist eating my giottos which i bought from austria. =( And i feel like i am going to pop if i don't eat ice cream now. Let's see how long before i pop. Bleh haha no wonder i don't get thinner. Xian diao.

I am looking very much forward to tomorrow! And wednesday! And thursday! And friday! And um not-so-much but Saturday! Haha. So exciting finally new J1s are going to join us. Everyone pray pray pray okay? =)

Haha i slept like 11 hours last night i'm super happy but i was rudely awoken coz suddenly i just realised that i couldn't for the life of me remember whether/when I had sealed the invitation letters we sent. So i woke up because of that and thought for very long before i remembered that Minsi sealed them in school!! =D

Anyway i cut my hair haha but it's not that much shorter because the guy layered it or something but a lot of hair DID get cut off. I felt fringey so i didn't cut off my fringe either. I think it's going to start tickling my eyes soon haha ok whatever.

Wah anyway my chemistry sucks like some straw i really need to work on it =(

Omg. The first week, or half a week of school is over. And i am already half-dead haha. Sleeping for barely 5 hours consecutively for like 2-3 days is o.O Haha anyway this morning i went to sleep at 2.30 and woke up at 7.30 and i can't believe i actually went to school at 8 to run with the pigs and fugu. Anyway pig was so piggy la he ask me go at 8 then luckily i was late coz he was late too so i didn't look like an idiot sitting at the stadium steps stoning. Anw met wenhao, geng rui, adrian, chin ee and weisong playing soccer at the semi-D. Haven't seen them in quite a while haha and i guess we won't get to see them for a looong time! Anyway if we do then we can laugh at their baldness yay.

Haha today was very very fun. Not like we did anything really special but it was just enjoyable to walk around botanic gardens and just ooze in the nice environment with nice people and just smile and laugh and meow away. Haha i think the rain was quite fun also coz like a lot of screaming (actually i think only fugu kept screaming) when we shared umbrellas and everyone got wet etc and it was just so hilarious. I think i'm a be delirious now though. Anw after island creamery i buay tahan went to macs and bought coffee. Mmmmm enjoying it now yay. Wubber i'm broke and i'm eating into next week's allowance. Crap k i shall eat economically hahaha. Btw, 7 11 is super rip off. It's funny how they give out random freebies occasionally though.

Anyway this morning woke up went down played with Lumpy and Nana (yay i just changed their sand bath just now so they smell nice) to find something amiss. I have 2 fish tanks stacked on top of each other la. So anyway i realised the top one was empty. So i asked my mum why, then well, apparently my dad's arowana jumped out last night and died. =(

Ah wellz anyway finally it's time to get back to school. Was just packing my school bag. Oh OMG i have to start the school year with PE okay. Our teacher sent us tomorrow's timetable. I hope the timetable for my class is like nice and good. Without PW and apparently less PE (or something) hopefully we get shorter days!! I wonder when my H3 starts. Xian diao. Busy busy busy!!!

I shall go and sleep soon to prepare for the terrible thing called school. Nights!

HAPPY NEW YEAR WORLD!!!!!!!! OMG I'M FEELING DAMN HAPPY NOW. AHHHHHHHH. Oh no, haha this is my 299th post. Okay wubber GOODNIGHT! MAY 2008 BRING ALL OF US GREAT THINGS!

Hii this is like my 298th post on this blog and i was like hoping to make the 300th post on 1st Jan so hm maybe i'll split this post into 2! Haha.

Anyway it's the last day of the year. Gosh time to get a bit emo.

For me, i would say that 2007 has been a wonderful year. It has certainly been one of the most roller-coaster-like year. I remember going a bit mad at the start of the year, when I just started school here and with all the OG craziness and going out at night every night. And then came chorale, and more new friends who were at first foreign and alien to me. And then came the classmates. I think i've never been made to memorize so many names in such a short period of time.

And so perhaps i'd also like to take this chance to scream out to a few people who've made my 2007 so memorable =D

Firstly to my OG! (I'm not sure if any of you read my blog but whatever). Although we've kind of dwindled down to just a few of us, i'd like to say a big thank you for being such a wonderful OG, especially OGLs ally and lewis who helped integrate all of us into RJC so efficiently haha. I think orientation and the first few weeks of school would be very different. Without all those mega-long gossip sessions, jokes and laughter and random bitchy talking-behind-the-back (oops) i think my first term in school would have been rather boring. Yay love you L'ego!

2ndly to my classmates. I could not ask for a more peaceful and happy class where everyone lives in harmony and despite us being not that close and clique-y, we're all still able to live happily together and accept each other. And of course for being so damn smart that i feel so stupid and with all that peer pressure i am forced to study -.- So okay that's good at least i try to study. Haha! Come on let's pwns again and get the most number of As for maths in all our exams =D Yay 6N!!

And well, lastly to Raffles Chorale. I really don't know what to say. Okay i do have a lot to say. Let me choose what to say. Okay whatever let me say everything. Ok i break into sub sections.

Firstly to my wonderfully minute tenor section. Omg although it is difficult singing tenor and i'm screaming my head off most of the time, we really do rock okay (heh -laughs at basses-) To the J2s (soon to be J3s in a few hours time), i'll really miss you guys, weisong, geng rui, song hua. All our slacktionals (although sometimes a bit irritating) and just screaming our heads off and getting sore throats from singing no-Hong and LITAGENKABUN and like basically trying to hit notes we can't hit. Shit -tries to stop myself from tearing LOL- Okay omg i'm having this huge surge of i-wanna-make-tenor-section-damn-pro feeling. Okay basically i love all of you (and that now only includes like bennett joseph and pseudo-geoffrey hahaha) and i will scream my head off if that's what it takes to support the choir. Come on manly men let's do it we will show those laupok cannot-hit-anything basses what we've got! Woot! (omg k nobody kill me)

Secondly, to Fringe. Omg i am speechless again. Thinking through all those late nights we spent in school, and the countless S11 dinners where i always 1. complain i'm too tired to buy food 2. buy bak kut teh 3. buy bak kut teh so that the aunty will deliver it to the table 4. drink ice lemon tea and heck about my voice (oops), the choreography which i glamorously screwed up on concert day, and omg just everything, and everybody. I cannot ask for more. I really really hope we're able to do something next year. And we shall!! I LOVVVE ALL OF YOU ruth hwee leen geng rui wenhao chin ee adrian deb quan val isaac and yes -cough- julian. Rawr. -ehug to all of you-

Thirdly, to the J2s who've been wonderful seniors to us this past year. Everyone is just so unbelievably nice i was rather oozing. I hope all of you go on to do well past RJC and heh PLEASE come back and visit us okay. And the guys we won't laugh at you if you've no hair coz we all totally have to go through it too =( Anyway yes so best of luck in army and for the girls in whatever course/universities you all choose to go to =D

Lastly, to all my wonderful batchmates. i couldn't ask for a more wonderful batch to be part of. Joining RV in sec 3 was a blessing, because it led me to meet and know all of you wonderful people. I am very very amazed and awed actually at how a group of people can become so close to each other that i would say that i'm very sure i will just cry and scream and kick if anybody took you guys away from me. We still have slightly more than half a year to go in chorale, and in this time, let's make chorale a wonderful place and do great things for both the choir and stretch ourselves to the limit in our music and everything else that we do. It has been an honour serving all of you so far and i promise i will carry on to do my best and put in whatever i can for all of you. Omg. I am feeling super excited for next year xD. Let's pwns.

Behind it all, i have my family to thank. My parents continuous support and all the random times when i run to my siblings for advice and hugs and stuff. If i didn't have you guys to keep pressing me forward and encouraging me i might have just collapse into a lump. I just thank God everyday that i was born into this wonderful family where Love hangs around every corner of our house. Yayy i love you dad mum kor chars cons.

-sighs- I guess sometimes a blog is a blog and certain things i would like to say to certain people can't be said here, so this is where i'll stop.

Yay i'm rather satisfied with the new hamster bedding i bought for Lumpy and Nana. Their cage isn't smelly anymore. My sisters were too cheapskate to buy bedding and used the sawdust we have instead. So anyway they originally gave the good bedding but after my sister changed the bedding to sawdust it became super duper smelly so anyway last week or week before i bought the bedding made of recycled paper which absorbs pee much better so now their cage smells nice. Woot.

Anyway big shout out to my secret santa who gave me a candy machine!! And guess what it was filled with??? JELLY BEANS!!! Haha. But the machine is a bit weird coz it tends to cut up the jelly beans into halves because like the hole for the sweet to come out of is like larger than a jelly bean so like 2 or 3 come out at one go then some of them get cut into half when i twist the knob. Ok nevermind yummy. =))

I feel like eating ice cream. Let me go dig around my fridge heehee.

School's starting in like 3 day's time? I am so screwed okay i didn't touch my homework at all. Yay. GGXX. Wish me tons of luck people yay. I go find ice cream now see ya.

Hello everyone!! Caroling finally ended today. I think the post caroling depression hasn't set in yet though. Wow but the whole process was really fun! It's my first time caroling, and i'm really not sure if it'll be my last. But of course hopefully not. I realise hor, that in addition to all the funness and everything, i think all of us have really grown as performers. Like how we can just heck care and do our choreo, or smile without caring if we actually look dumb. We're performers, and that's just what we have to perfect, without compromising our core purpose which is to create music. And i think we DID make music, in every session. But most importantly, I'm very sure we all enjoyed ourselves a great deal. =)

Anyway, this year was the first time i ever went to church during Christmas. I have no idea why but christmas wasn't something very important to our family despite us being christians (the irony hor) that's why i guiltily admit that i've never sent a single christmas card either so anyway thanks to all who sent me christmas cards but sadly didn't get one in return. I will try to remember to send them next year haha. So anyway, i went to 2 churches this christmas. My own and bennett's. I like bennett's pastor he's so funny haha but anyway we had lots of fun that day la. Especially what we did during/after lunch at pizza hut (heehee). Wenyi please remember to send us a copy each heehee.

Tomorrow's chorale practice is meant as a transition to next year. I guess the whole routine is going to start again, possibly even more rigorous if we go overseas to compete. In addition to our concert being so much larger scale as it's held in esplanade. So exciting! And of course for us poor j2s (i've got to get used to this) we'll have our tragic A levels. =( Sigh.

This morning i was just looking for my white christmas scores, so i decided to look through the pile of junk on my table and found them all to be term 4 notes and tutorials which were all undone and i had a mild panic attack. I'm super untidy -.- i found like my GP CT1 script in that pile. Goodness i need to file my stuff.

Sigh but tonight is just... Hmm... Maybe it's time to really prepare for the new year.

And so today was a rather fruitful day. I woke up like the pig i was at 10+ 11 (but i'm still rather tired now -.-) and went adam road to eat then uh popped by island creamery to eat ice cream WAHAHAHAHAHA i am fat. Someone stop me.

OHHHHH i saw more hammies today!!!!!!!!! Omgosh. While we were at CCK waiting for people to arrive, i went into Lot 1 and found a pet store! And they had suuuuupppeerrrr cute hamsters inside. There was this litter where the 4 of them were all white, and allll squashed into the exercise wheel and sleeping. Omgosh i almost exploded with cuteness. Heeee. Oh dear speaking of which, i need to feed my hamsters. Bleh. Lumpy has eaten up all the food. This morning went down and found Nana sieving through the uh leftovers of Lumpy. =( Aiya nevermind refill food tomorrow.

Caroling at night safari was rather amusing. The highlight being me forgetting to turn for jingle bells choreo and realizing only after my brain went "oops, time to turn!" then i turned graciously wahaha. Okay whatever i'm so going to pwns choreo tomorrow okay. Hmph =DD

RCS is having a post trip get together thingzie tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't end toooo early then i can go straight to CCK/nigh safari from there. Hmm wonder how long it takes. Oh yayy my parents are finally coming back after a million years. I miss them like some... person. =((( K nevermindz if they dare fly off soon i will tie them down muaha. Woot.

At gerald's request, i have posted that on my blog. Anyway i have renamed my hamsters Lumpy and Nana. Lumpy being the lazy one and Nana being the happy one. Yay!

Good afternoon! Anyway yesterday i went down and caught poor Happy sleeping in the wheel and fat Lazy pigging out. See the guilty look on his face when i took the photo????? Heehee. Anyway i didn't know my phone could flash so um after that Happy woke up and Lazy ran back into the house.
Here you can see how much fatter Lazy is compared to Happy haha.

Ok so anyway evil-younger-brother-syndrome has worked and sis is going to bring me to eat pizza hut at j8 in a few minutes then we'll go look at hammies (again) and i've decided (i think) to buy a small cage and 1 pearl winter white and hide it next to my current cage and see if my mum notices. HAHAHAHA. Birthday present for my sis whose birthday is tomorrow (haha what an excuse). Okaaayz.

Hiiiii!! Zomg i can't believe myself! I just ran 4km on a treadmill how boring is that. Therefore, i conclude that i am very good at inspiring myself because the treadmill faces a full length mirror so all i could see was myself running. Woot.

I WANT ANOTHER HAMMMIESTER!!!!! Omgosh this afternoon i went to j8 and popped by the pet shop and they had SUPER CUTE AND PRETTY pearl russian winter whites (i.e they're pure white colour with a streak down the back) and they're just the cutest things on earth. I'm not going to 抛弃 Happy and Lazy of course (i'm kind of calling my 2 hamsters those 2 names now). Wah piang lazy is damn fat he's like 1.5 times the size of Happy now and he bullies Happy like some fat slob. Anyway poor Happy has resorted to sleeping on the exercise wheel which is super cute because he's just this blob of fur on a plastic wheel in the middle of the entire cage. Damn funny. Anyway i love him he's just so damn cute awww k pet pet. I'm thinking of punishing Lazy and putting him in the orange ball chorale people gave me for birthday and making him sleep there. Ha. Ok la i shan't be evil. Maybe i'll just have to buy a cage and separate them =( Or expand this cage until it's so huge that they can find separate places to sleep in =D. See how la. If i buy a new cage i'll just buy a simple small cheap one and put Lazy there. Then put his food on like the 2nd level or some secluded places so he has to MOVE to find food muahahaha.

Anyway i'm like super tempted to buy a pretty pearl hamster (while my parents are away heehee) then like plonk it somewhere and pet it.

Hello everyone!! Today was the first day of caroling and i would say it went well =DD. Although like many of us were utterly embarrassed by our choreo but i think the audience liked them a lot. Heehee. Anyway. Funny moment of the day while we were talking about ice cream:

Hahahaha okay so anyway they're from Italy if you didn't know.

I'm extremely tired coz i for no apparent reason woke up at 5am. Head my grandfather clock chime, then went back to sleep only for a short while before waking up at 6.30am. So anyway since i couldn't sleep so i went down and walked around my house. Carpark, garden, swimming pool oh and sat at the swimming pool there thinking about what i need to do for next year. Xian diao. Got rather demoralized so i went back into the house and came back to my room. Dad happily trooped in at 7.30 and told me we had to leave 20 mins earlier coz he wanted to go post office to collect something. Since it's christmas, the post office has been insanely crowded, and even though it opens at 8.30am, and we arrived at 8.27am, there were already 5 people queuing up.

Haha anyhows i'm going to sleep now because i am damn tired. Goodnight world and sing well tomorrow =DD

HELLO FROM VIENNA!!! EVERYONE SAY HIIIIII!!!!

Now i kind of know how Mr Toh feels whenever he has to remind someone to sing a certain part and he goes 'I'm one person and i have to remember each person do which part for the whole choir and i got so many choirs leh.'

Anyway just had RCS prac and it was like as if our standard went up like a million notches after saturday's performance!! Ah so promising i hope we're able to further improve and make music and everything then zomg i think i'll cry on stage LOL. Tragically i'm not feeling very excited right now that we're leaving tomorrow. Oops, well it's more like later tonight. I think i'm still quite angry and pissed at some people but nevermind I'll get over it soon. Haha. Going to airport at 9.30pm. Luckily it's a night flight then in the day i can like do last minute packing and like totally buy whatever i might lack or throw in things which i may have forgotten earlier on. Xian this year's packing rather last minute. Coz parents were like overseas before that, and rather busy with everything else that's been going on. Parents aren't too happy with me right now. But oh wellz, things will heal with time haha.

Knowing that our vocal cords are a pair of muscles, is it then possible to actually tear them? I've heard of people who sing till they bleed but that's because it's using completely wrong technique. What if it's correct technique but like continuous daily usage of the vocal cords? I think i can honestly say that i've never sung like so much ever in my life. I feel like i'm singing either for choir, caroling, or RCS like nearly everyday of my life after promos haha. Not complaining, just wondering if my vocal cords will fail me o.O Okay they better not i'll just like cry my eyeballs out, especially not at this point in time. =)

Anyway i conclude coffee truly can make me happy =) Food, or anything that stimulates the taste buds in a nice way can really perk me up haha. K i love coffee although it's technically bad for the voice but whatever if i need it i need it. Woot.

Yo!! -is rather tired-

I conclude that i really can be moved enough by music to cry. Yesterday RCS performed at St Anthony's Canossian School's chapel. Dunman sec and SAC themselves also performed. Anyway so like we practiced the whole afternoon in their canteen, then went to the chapel to sing at 545 and well, i personally thought we sung better than expected xD. Anyway so then it was SAC and i love their trebles =D. Eh wait, they're all trebles. I mean, i love their sops. =D They were good and goosebumpy =))

Anyway then it was dunman sec, and they sang o magnum which RV did as well as cantate domino which was zzzzooommmgggg quite good. Well that's where i was all goosebumpy then suddenly i realised that a tear escaped my eyes. But it was quite um half-disappointing that the ending of the song wasn't as spectacular as the start then couldn't cry again =( Anyway haha good job dunman! I'm sure you guys will do very well at the bratislava competition this december =)

RV's concert today was gooood. It was quite a pity that we were not-that-early then our seats were below the circle seats so the sound was all diminished and soft and um well the choir appeared very soft to us =( The combined songs esp nella fantasia sounded like it came from a cd because it was so soothing and soft (to us) and i itched to attempt to turn the volume up LOL but obviously cannot. So anyway i thought that RV did nelly fantasia really well i almost almost teared but think if i sat in front i probably would have la coz the effect would be greater =D

Anyhow congrats RV and SE and good job wheeee. xD

Xianz. 6 days to competition. I'm leaving on tuesday night haha anyone wanna send me offf????? HEEEHEEEE my flight's totally at um... Where ah. -checks- Hmm, air france departing at 1130pm from terminal 1. Hm wonder what time i have to go, probably 2 hours before as usual. Tmr must remember to go j8 and buy last minute stuff like um shampoo. Haha! Xian. My voice is a bit wonky now i think i should cease my ice cream-eating habits and commence my healthy good-for-voice eating habits. And drink about a million liters of water daily. Yay! Sounds like the perfect plan hor.

Haha anyway i was super zzz throughout the entire day because i slept at like 1am despite my previous declaration that i was going to sleep early -.- and i had to wake up at 7.50am to go eat breakfast and go for caroling prac. Caroling prac was quite funn and crappy haha anyway the picture taking part was super amusing oh and i think joash looks damn hot with a pink tie. Heehee. And the girls all looked pretty with the scarves tied the way they were tied. Which is good =) Yayyy. Yong Feng is super shuai in his um mercedes taxi driver outfit HAHAHA.

Anyway we trudged to lunch in j8 food court. OH wait pause. Today was an incredibly cool day the weather was just oozing coolness. I like!! And then so we ate lunch at about 2+ and then like, bennett had to leave =( coz he had tuition with his very friendly chemistry teacher =)). Anyway we chit chatted for a long time before fried wenyi and yong feng left and continued chatting and ended up hanging around the foodcourt for 2+ hours until 5pm where joo and i left to go home. Wahaha. I think royce and geoffrey left as well. Anyway gossip sessions are always fun xD. Wheee haha i had a happy afternoon.

I came home and had a nap which oozed niceness all over and got abruptly woken up for dinner. Woot had dinner and then here i am blogging. Yayyy wednesday turned out to be a nice day. Anyway tmr i'm not doing anything so i'm just going to ooze at home. Except evening got RCS bleh. Yaawwwwwwnz.

I think i'm going to play hellgate london now whee xD.

Wahahaha i just got up, walked to toilet and on the way paused and thought to myself: "Have i eaten dinner????" then i took about 3 seconds to remember that yes, indeed, i had taken dinner. I conclude that I am becoming old. =( I suffer from severe short-term memory loss.

So anyway i totally slept like a piece of bak kua and woke up at 11+ this morning. Woot. Ate like rather soggy noodles which daddy bought for me at dunno what time. Thenn. I totally went to shower and dad mum cons and i totally went to coronation plaza. Super funky please. Anyway we actually went there to UOB to open a bank account for me! So applied for a debit card which will totally arrive in 2 weeks' time. I'm so not in Singapore then please -.- So lame. K wubber woot i feel rich.

Yesterday's exchange went very well. Whee i really appreciate all the work and effort that everyone put in to ensure its success. So anyway most exciting moments for me were:

1. When person in the middle of circle asks the person next to me if he likes his neighbours. I could feel my heart failing me when the person said no.

2. When i was about 1 person away from the end of the jagged line and i was going to challenge lois or something to scissors paper stone. Tragically, i lost =(

3. Twirling gayly.

4. Trying to get past joseph without him sticking a sticker on me.

5. Trying not to crash into readon (ew)

Funniest moment of the day was when Clara said to Stacey.

I almost died on the spot AHAAHAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway it was really fun, and i enjoyed the showcase (Mr Toh was zomg i'm going to tease him endlessly muahahaha) and the combined was just as fun. Wahhh i so miss singing in a big choir! The basses were just so o.O it's been a long time that i've heard such rumbling sound. Heehee. And also the power from the trebles and the chance for me to sing softer than i usually do because there are so many tenor loudhailers from RV =) Whee hahaha. The video was really cool, a pity the sound couldn't really work though. Oh well. Hmmmm.....

Ahahaha and i'd like to say THAAAAANKS for the surprise at the end of exchange. i am going to kill Joash okay for making my blood pressure rise when he suddenly came to me and gave me a super worried look and asked me to follow him out. I thought like some dude collapsed and died or something please. Then when i reached the door he suddenly turned around and went 'oh nevermind nevermind' then i was like 'WHAT WHAT I'M SURE EMERGENCY THEN SUDDENLY SAY NEVERMIND!' Then like my brain only took about 10 seconds to realise that they were totally going to spring something on me. So okay joash i am going to kill you. Haha! But thanks everyone for the er stack of bak kua in place of a cake. Really innovative Bennett haha. Pleasant surprise. Thanks everyone for the hamster presents (you all totally bought presents after reading the other post lor which meant it was bought AFTER my birthday hmph hahaha joking la) and the cards. Think this year's birthday must be the most exciting of all my birthdays. Except perhaps the day when i was born. How often do you get to squeeeeze through a hole. xD

I'm really tired still for some reason. I can see my eyebags growing which is terribly terrible because i've never had eyebags before. eeeeeeeeee... 怎么办??? Okay i shall go and sleep more. Sleep early tonight. Whee. Lalala xian diao.

My 2 sisters got me a pair of hamsters!! -squeals in delight- They're both male though, so that we won't end up with a million of them. But they're SO adorable!! Omgosh i just wanna like um hug them forever =) They're really cute and small, 3 weeks to 1 month old only. I hope they live long long. I shall take care of them well. Hmph. =)))))

Anyway i had a super nice blackforest cake this morning! And all my loved ones were with me =)) Ahhhhh -is melting- omg k i love my family loads and loads and loads. Then we went to crystal jade at Vivocity for lunch. Hmm the food was a BIT more disappointing though, it doesn't seem as good as the last time we went. But well it was still yummy anyway and i ate until i almost burst like some fugu. Haha! Anyway coz lunch was at 12+ and RCS started at 2pm i was totally late for RCS but heh k.

AAAAAND then at RCS, those twits totally gave me a HUGE surprise! It was break time and Mr Toh was like 'okay breaktime!' then i was just stoning and staring at my scores then Mr Toh suddenly started playing the keyboard and like slow me totally couldn't pick out that he was playing 'Happy Birthday' then until everyone started singing (in tune xD) and i turned around to see Emmy bringing out a cake with a candle. Omg i was super shocked because i didn't know that they knew it was my birthday?? Only Mr Toh knew coz i had to tell him why i cancelled vocal lessons. So anyway we took pictures and cut cake and everything. Omg i totally had 2 cakes in a day !!!!!! -is feeling super overwhelmed still-

Okay so after coming home from school i decided i needed to kill something and i turned on Hellgate London and successfully killed some boss and finished a quest in half an hour. -is gleeful-

After which, i went to eat dinner which turned out to be cod fish which i had just ate 2 nights ago, because my parents weren't here to know that we had just cooked it, and hence they decided to cook it. Anyway so whatever. Ate, bathed, and left for esplanade for choral conducting workshop which was totally unplanned. Mr Toh couldn't make it then he asked Geoffrey to find someone to replace him and i was o.O enough to say yes. =) Anyway it was interesting, but um i guess not really what i expected. But oh well.

I'm really very tired now. I shall retreat into my little nest and try to sleep tonight -.- Bye.

Hello everyone! I just had a most wonderful shower it was REALLY nice okay i don't know why but i think because i'm feeling incredibly happy now that's why =) Nothing's going to spoil my mood okay =D

Today was a really great day. Started off with me waking up super grumpily (more or less the only bad part about my day) because i only had a mere EIGHT hours of sleep (who can survive please -rolls eyes-) Ate breakfast blah blah oh and realised to my horror that i had/have a sore throat. GGXX. And so i got into my sister's mini and my aunty drove me to Seah road in town area (near beach road) to the MINT toy museum. Well, it was class learning journey day!!

I completely forgot about it until my friend asked me last night if i was going and i was like 'huh when is it' then like 'tomorrow!!!!' then like 'WHAAAAAT????'. Luckily it was predicted to end by 1-2pm so caroling wouldn't be affected. Anyway, the museum is really quite interesting you know. =) All the toys of cartoons series and all and seeing the variations of the same product being made from different countries, it really does speak a lot about the country which produces the toy, with regards to detailing, how much they know of the particular toy they make, and even politics. (Apparently Britain didn't want to be same as US so they made their Mickey mouse with teeth to distinguish their toys from those made in US when mickey mouse never had teeth in the first place) Haha so anyway we ended the tour at around 12pm. And well as coincidence and impeccable timing would have it, my sister happened to have to go to SMU at 12pm. And so, i asked my aunty to come over to find me and we ate lunch at some chicken rice place then she fetched me home.

When i was reaching home which was like 12.50pm Yong Feng called me to announce that he was lost. xD. Anyway he apparently completely missed the small road into my house and ended up at 140+ Coronation road. So anyway i asked my aunty to go and find him and well we found him and then gave him a lift to my house!! Where he realised that he was in fact, 1 hour early because he got the timing wrong. Haha! It's okay =) I enjoyed your company for that 1 hour while we waited for -cough- the others to come who -cough- arrived oh-so-punctually. xD. oh, -cough-. K anyway we finally started singing at i think 2.45pm? Yes, we're all punctual people =) hahahahahahaha. Ok i shall stop my suanning. Ohh i think the first song we did, um, Do you hear what i hear, is really nice. It's quite unison-ish, at least for the guys, but it has got quite nice parts. We did geoffrey's Jingle Bells which was quite o.O at the start because of the super non-usual melody and interpretation but after a while finally got the hang of it and it's interesting. We just have to get used to it and make our rhythm more accurate. It has potential! Well lastly was The christmas song, and it's really nice! i didn't know it was so nice because for some reason the RV recording has some balance problem i think.. Like the tenors are too loud or something. Well coz the sop's melody is quite low for them so naturally they'll be softer, and tenor in high range is naturally louder. So k must sing softer =D. Anyway fitting the solo notes into the chords with all the basses around me is also really nice. Woot. Especially the first note for 'chest' is just so juicy. K i love basses.

And and the evening half-hour walk to island creamery was so beautiful! The sky was super nice and it was just rather peaceful and calm and everyone was like chatting to each other quietly and just strolling along. The occasional teasing Isaac for killing all the grass.. And haha obviously the prize at the end of the walk =) Somehow i think it has helped my sore throat a bit haha. I should eat ice cream if i have sore throat next time xD. (Excuses to eat ice cream heh). Well yes and Val is super funny. It's so funny to see her get so excited at cute guys and um ya Val you should totally go to island creamery more often =) Woot. Lalala.

Kk happy me is going to eat dinner now because it's 8.20pm and dinner's ready. See you all next monday lalala. Yay!

OH i heard something on the radio today that was super spastic. It went something along the lines of:

I totally burst out laughing la it was super funny (okay don't roll your eyes) i mean like duh it's the AVERAGE level so obviously 50% is below that and 50% is above that.

Ok anyway a few days ago i went with my brother to Sim Lim square and he bought a new computer because he had just bought Hellgate London and so wanted a new computer to play the game on (he's some rich freak okay.... -rolls eyes-). Anyway, then he asked me whether i wanted to play the game then i was like 'orh' so he happily bought me one copy (told you he's rich) and so i went to try the game just now. And my noob com kept beeping and beeping because it overheats or something so i had to go change the fan speed and beep temperature so hopefully it doesn't beep anymore =)

Anyway the game is quite fun it's a lot like Diablo 2 and WoW, a combination of both la. Yep, and i'm not sure if $60 is expensive or not because i never actually buy computer games myself (they're always either hand-me-downs or my brother buys them for me xD) But okay if you're really free and bored and have a lot of time (since it's holidays now) then you can go and get it. Heehee. I haven't played computer game in like ages. At least not this year man. Been so busy.

Hello my dears! After singing continuously for um, 2 days, i kind of had no voice today. Thankfully i managed to find it by the time Mr Toh came haha then managed to scream out my Fs. I shall rest my voice until Sat where i'll have to sing, oh, bass (phew). HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I like singing bass, less effort so my tone doesn't break into the christopher sound -rolls eyes-

K ANYWAY. I have lost the jelly beans craze =( Which is good i suspect it caused my whole system to be a bit weird with all that excess sugar. Maybe that's why i'm more tired now haha but don't think so. I'll eat just a few every day and maybe the jar will last 1 whole year after all (ya right.)

I am quite bored. i think i will go and read my book now xD. It's really exciting.

Wheee i love bass and i love basses. I think they really give the foundation to the whole sound and makes it all grounded and non-floaty and though their parts can be boring at times, but it's so essential to keep the column of sound there. Ah, so okay everybody should express thanks to basses. xD.

Bleh i didn't sleep well at all last night -.- Woke up like an hour before my alarm clock was supposed to ring at 9.30am. Haiz. Okay bad me shouldn't worry so much about things and try to sleep. It's a very sad vicious cycle coz stress right? Then should sleep in the night then next day can think clearly, but the mind doesn't want to rest so next day ggxx cannot think. -rolls eyes- My brain is clearly spastic.

I am SO happy PW is finally over!!!!!!!!! After handing up I&R this morning i just had this feeling of closure and like 'ah...' feeling then i was super happy =) For a few moments until my headache came back. Realise i get headaches if my body didn't sleep well, but i don't get headaches if i have little sleep but my sleep was a good sleep.

K my headache is getting quite bad coz my nose bridge is starting to hurt already. Bleh. I should go and sleep hor. Yes yes, bad boy.

Crap i've taken a very unhealthy liking to jelly beans. Went to vivocity with parents for lunch on friday, then went to candy empire and bought this beeeeg jar of jelly beans made by the jelly bean factory! And it's super nice. =) I especially like the strawberry cheesecake flavour and popcorn!! Hahahahaha.

Anyway, my sister just got her new Mini Cooper S yesterday! It's really pretty. It's 'astro black' in colour but essentially it's just this really really dark blue that's almost black, white stripes down the middle of the bonnet and the back. With RED colour seats! Haiya but it's so typical of my sister haha but it's really cute =)

It's going to be quite insane once they come in, all the rush for concert, and trip. There's really not a lot of time to bring everyone up to standard, especially if they're not used to Mr Toh's style or perhaps if they don't have choral background? So yes we must be good seniors and help everyone! =)

I am going to die of diabetes if i continue the way i do. I drank a nice bubble milk tea during lunch break, bought a slurpee during alumni prac, and drank a mega cup of coffee at coffee bean before going home. Zomg.

As you can tell, i am very deprived of sleep and hence in need of the regular sugar rush and caffeine dose. And i am extremely upset that the super bimbo chic lit book i was reading has finished. No more happy things to look forward to! And seriously, these books are the BEST man because you know they're going to always end happy! AND they're so brainless i literally just waste my life away while reading them. Of course, they help me to destress a lot which is why i had read one on Sunday night before promo results. Hahahaha. Okay i need to find a new one now. NOW. SISTIC IS CAUSING ME TO LOSE LIKE 10 YEARS OF MY LIFE.

OMG. I can't freaking buy the tickets to this friday's concert because the page keeps failing to load after i managed to grab hold of the tickets but unable to make the transaction. Hm i was just looking through all my old photos because i was really bored. Well not old, but since about 2005 when we got our first digital camera. Oh, it was quite funny coz my dad didn't really trust digital cameras then, so the first few times we went on holiday we'd always bring both the digital and film camera. But oh well, actually it was a good thing la coz i remember that digi cam kept running out of battery really quickly and its memory space was quite small like 64mb only or something.

Anyhow. If you're my friend on facebook then you'll see several new photos!! =) Hmm was looking at some of my sec 2 photos from last time, and i realised i was much tanner last time. Well, i mean quite duh la i was a hockey player. Haha! Actually it was quite a nice colour because i'm naturally fair, so after all that sun i didn't really turn brown or black like how my brother and one of my sister does, i just uh turn... uh, darker? Like a nice shade of gold/bronze whatever. Okay hahaha. Those were the days =( And i had nice skin too!! Now i'm getting all fat and white LOL.

Oh and i'm super upset because i can't find a photo of my family where everyone looks super good. It's the photo i have in my wallet, but somehow i can't find it on my computer. =(((( I really hope i didn't forget to transfer it from my laptop to my computer before my laptop got reformatted. =(( Maybe. It's quite an old photo, from 2005.

Anyhows, today's been a rather boring day so far. I shall uh maybe go and take a short nap now. Yawnz. =))

Anyway, many of you may know, or not know, i don't know, that earlier in the first half of the year i was asked to sing with RCS, the unofficial alumni of RJ chorale (and the group we're going to carol under). We're going on an end of year trip back to Prague, where RV had our competition. It's the same competition, but different venue and whatever. So practices have been every saturday afternoon at one of the member's house. It's been really fun la, very different to get to sing in a small group, with only 12 of us, and me having to sing bass (yes out of the 3 tenors i'm the lowest) because all 3 tenors are so loud and we've lack of basses. It's definitely a very different experience between having Mr Toh conduct in front of the choir and having him sit right next to you where he can poke your face when your tone is wrong LOL or stare at you when you go out of tune.

Well anyhow, that also explains why i've been uh banned (haha) from going to Sentosa by Mr Toh tomorrow =( Ah well, really hope that everyone else is able to make it and all of you promise me you'll have fun okay? =) I think in our short JC life, it really is difficult to get a big group of people who all have different timetables and commitments to come together on one day to go on an outing. It's different from a class, where it's easy to just go out after lessons, even so, it's usually just for a short lunch before everyone breaks off to go do their own things. With so many exams and events popping up here and there, it's difficult to find the appropriate time to even hold such an outing in the first place. So, yes, we should all always treasure such things when they come by. Unfortunately i don't think i've been able to make it to like a single one? Wasn't at chalet because i was overseas, now tomorrow i can't go. Aiya but oh well, terrible timing? Perhaps hahaha but well maybe we'll have a chalet at the end of year? ANYONE WANTS TO PLAN ONE??? =)))))) You are most welcome to xD. How about a christmas chalet? That will be nice. We can have Gerald blast his solo for round the glory manger HAHAHA.

Chorale today was fun. Yay Mr Toh didn't scold me, except for uh being loud -.- Nevermind i think i can solve THAT problem quite easily haha! And i realise i really REALLY like renaissance pieces they seem to appeal most to me =) Basically stuff which overlap nicely and yet still blend and have chords at such unexpected moments just never fail to make me go "oooo" when i sing. Wahaha.

Hello everyone! Today's been some mega-slack day. Oh wait, no i went to church ^.^ I almost died trying to get out of bed after a mere 6.5 hours of sleep. BUT i didn't fall asleep in church =) BUT i came back and immediately zzzz-ed on my bed for 1 hour plus before dad came and woke me up for lunch. Went to adam road hawker centre and got conned. Coz at first drove past then it seemed like the entire row of stalls were closed! Then decided to get off to check properly then realised it's coz that entire row we were looking at was like Malay food so since it's Hari Raya yesterday so they're all probably taking a break today =) Yep, so the other side of the hawker centre was still bustling with activity. Heehee. Ate duck rice. Came home, and have been slacking till now yay. Oh, discussed with Suet about exchange!

Okay have decided to be hardworking and am going to attempt to exercise. Someone punch me.

Hmm.. I was just thinking. Choral singing requires a lot of patience. Don't you think? Most of the time, we don't really sing many many fast songs. And so the patience comes when we have to stretch the notes, to pay attention to every detail. And of course, the patience encompasses the hours of practice just to perfect one song. Only to perhaps perform it once? And then what? If someone is always very eager to get along, then won't he/she start rushing when they sing? The song goes out of rhythm. When they rush through practices, how can the song turn out to be good?

I'm not sure if it only applies to choirs, (i didn't bother thinking whether it applied to other stuff), but as long as it applies to us, it's important to know about it.

And i think a large number of people are really just very concerned about singing their own part. But that's just it isn't it, we're not solo singers. We're a choir. I must admit it's really not easy to be able to juggle singing your own part and at the same time listening to other parts. But well, it really really depends you know? Depends on how you view it. I realise that recently, for example wednesday when we were thrown the new christus scores and just sight singing, a lot of times i was just fitting my notes into the chords of the choir. Of course tuning and stuff is still important, but sometimes it's also easier to fit your note into the chord. If everyone is able to hear chords, then we wouldn't go out of tune. But then, relying on chords alone cannot also because if the choir is out of tune, then you'll just lose your note. It's not easy, but it's important to really hear chords in a choir because without chords, then where's the harmony and blend? Unless of course it's clash chords then don't listen because then you'll get influenced to sing other people's notes then you'll lose your correct note haha!

It's also very important to look up and down the score to see who you're supposed to have harmony with, and sometimes whether you and another section are supposed to sing the same note. Because that's like obviously the best time to see if the 2 sections are in tune right? If they clash then obviously burst. Haha! Hmm. Maybe it's a good idea to just play notes and let people try to fit notes in to make up the chord. Hmmm.

Okay going back to patience. Oh i also realise that often in singing many people tend to slack at last moments? Not just realise la, Mr Toh has been telling us very often. But many times, we don't realise it's happening. But it really does affect the whole sound. It's in a way a reflection of how people want to rush on to the next note without even completing the note they're singing. Maybe it's not patience, but just that people don't know that they're neglecting the last part of the note. So. Something to take note of =)

Anyway super happy suddenly today was able to identify the difference between my speaking-singing voice and my tony-singing voice ^.^ Okay shall have no more christopher sound! Heeheehee. I realised that all along i though the ringing-in-the-front-of-my-face sound was the correct sound, and that the big blob of sound at the back of the head meant that the sound was stuck in the head (dark sound). But then i had a revelation and realised that it has to have BOTH the big blob of sound to create the nice big tone and the ringing feeling to create the uh, ringing sound. Cannot just have 1. Big blob alone ---> Dark sound. Ringing sound alone---> annoying nasal christopher-sound. So must combine then it'll sound better =) Yay. Revelation of the century!!

Bleh okay it's almost 1am and i've gotta wake up early to go church tmr. Yes, i've started going back to church after like many many years (really). Bye everyone! Hello! Wah today was sooo dreadful. At least school was. I was supremely tired because of the endless late nights ever since Sunday night. And well, i think it's having an effect on me. My eyes and uh like the eyebrows there were quite painful and i just zzzzz throughout econs lecture. LT5 tables are super not conducive for sleeping btw they just slide around wherever i lean my elbows. Ah well, anti-sleeping measures. But i guess if you're that tired, it doesn't matter. So before maths i CMI went to buy a slurpee because the sheer amount of sugar content is enough to wake me up no matter what. And well, it kind of worked. Stayed awake enough to kind of understand. Oh but the lecturer was really funny anyway she kept randomly shouting instead of using the mic and say random lame but (to me) rather funny jokes. I think my brain was so dead that any attempt at a joke would have appeared funny. Anyway. Chem was next and i stayed awake coz i was just like half talking to Jin Kai half listening and copying. Bleh. Hope my organic chem next year doesn't GGXX.

Oh i realised why it was so terrible also! My class doesn't have a single double lecture. So we stay in the LTs for a max of 1 period before moving to classrooms or break or something. Ya, so the fact that we have 1.5 hours lecture instead of 1 hour, AND 3 lectures together is enough to make me go dizzy. So when school finished at 12 i buay tahan rushed off with sister and aunty to J8 to eat... Ding Tai Feng!! =D Super nice and we also ate like uh yami yogurt after that so okay i was going to pop. Came home and zzzzzzzzz until 3+ then went to cut my hair (finally). I was supposed to cut it 1 week before promos so you can tell how overdue it is. I think i've said this a million times. Anyway. So it's nice and short and my sister went 'SO CUTE!' when she saw it -.- Wubber. Then 爆炸 i became a pig and went to island creamery and ate more ice cream. Wahaha. Ok like whatever.

Oh yar! Congratulations to the music comm! Everyone in chorale, let's make chorale a super pro place okay?? OKAYY?? And of course mould each other into good singers who gel together and enjoy the whole thing through our music and friendship. Looking ahead - to prepare for the new J1 intake next year and be ready to accept them and quickly teach them such that we can be ready for whatever endeavors we're going to undertake next year. Yes? =)


And of course, we are SO going to make things better. <3

WoW. Today's choir was very enjoyable. Hm i really like renaissance pieces i realise. Ever since O magnum, i think i've really come to appreciate this style a lot more, with all the different arches. It's really beautiful when each section has their own melody and arches and climaxes and all those. It may appear like the choir is falling apart, with each section going off to sing their own melody, but well in actual fact it's not. Because the notes always form chords and they always end up in unison at the end of the entire phrase. So it's like diversity yet everyone is together. Ah so sweet. But hm if you guys don't really like the christus song (i only don't like it because i get a shock everytime mr toh says it-.- ) then i guess we could suggest another one or try other songs. Opinions people??? =D.

Anyway my voice is back to normal =) No more no voice from saturday haha. But then hmm i think maybe uh now it's like rehealing or something because it feels very mucousy in my throat bleh. Oh well, must be sing too much in falsetto. If i'm not wrong when we sing in our falsetto, we're actually using some mucous membrane part of our vocal cords, compared to using the entire set of muscles for full voice. So maybe that's why if you have more mucous you can sing higher? WAHAHA i don't know.

I ended real early today, like 10.15. Hm then worked on moving the stuff from our old (now it's called old) store room to Raffles Room 8 because they want to convert that room to photocopying room. Whee. Thanks so much for everyone's help. =) Who ah? Ivan, Isaac, Kialiang, Bennett, Suet, Gen, Cat, Joseph, and the random dude from RP. We did it in 2 hours!! Anyway then ate lunch with bennett, quan, isaac, geet. Went with quan and geet to the MEP room and listened to them sing their duet for elijah rock. My ears almost burst wahahaha. Then yeps went for chorale which was fun. =) Keep kena from Mr Toh haha but okay nevermind my fault i THINK i was being lazy so never use techniques fully so caused sound to be a bit off. Anyhow. Yawnz. xD

Oh it's so funny. While having lunch, quan and geet started singing their prague songs, and they sang a version of ave maria, and the song is so beautiful! I have it in one of my chanticleer albums, though they did a TTBB version while RGS obviously did a SSAA version. But they're the same la just different octaves. But i was like zomg then now i'm listening to it non stop haha. It's really really very beautiful. Gentle and smooth (quotes ivan). It's quite long though, 7 minutes plus. Ahhh. I think i'm just going to ooze in beautiful choral music tonight. -chris is in bliss-

Oh crap. Throat hurts after eating ice cream -.- Silly me. K let me gulp down 10thousand gallons of water. Hmm today is a funky long day. Econs, maths and chem lecture. End at 12.05. I'm finally going to cut my hair =) Couldn't find any time to do it ever since 1 week before promos. So yeah that's how long it's overdue haha i think like i saved cutting my hair once already wahaha. Anyway it really is warmer when i've long hair. But then again, i feel less cold in aircon room. Oh wellz. Pros and cons.

I shouldn't be awake at this hour. I should be sleeping. I have to go school by 830am tomorrow morning. I know i will just die if i don't sleep now and have to wake up barely 6 hours later. But i still don't feel like sleeping.

It's interesting how sometimes you know you have a bad habit, or like there's something bad about you, but yet it doesn't hit you hard until someone actually tells you you're like that. Hm like let's say I'm fat, but then the reality of it doesn't hit me until someone actually says in my face 'you are FAT okay.' Yar okay you get what i mean. It's a very interesting sensation and it causes you to uh go into deep thinking and hm maybe that's why i don't feel like sleeping. It's not a bad thing, sometimes it's good for people to tell you your bad points. You know how they always say that your true friends always point out your mistakes because they want you to improve? I guess i'm also glad that i have friends who're like that. =) So uh, in a way, thank God for them.

I had a really fun day today with my 2 sisters and dad. Went to fish farms in the afternoon after a yummy lunch haha. It's amazing to see all the different kinds of fish, like all the breeds. And of course, the huge giant arowanas on display. The most expensive was this big red one which cost $6888. I think no fun leh, the fun is in rearing the fish until it grows big right? Yeah so hopefully my dad's will grow big then from $48 become worth $10000 or something. Heehee.

Hm it's amazing also how much drama can unfold in one day. Miscommunication really results in a lot happening and as history has like shown, it can really result in serious consequences. Oh, made me think of Othello haha. Where the woman totally died coz the husband thought she cheated and then he killed himself after realizing she was faithful. GGXX. -.- Yeah oh well, everyone learns at the end of the day hopefully.

Sigh phew okay. I think i'm finally feeling more relieved now. Hm okay it's 1.30am and i gotta wake up at 7am. So that means? 5 and a half hours of sleep. HHYY. Okay hopefully i don't uh faint tomorrow. Haha Suet can totally save me =).

Hello! I totally lost my voice and couldn't sing at all today. Okay but nevermind hahaha i hope it'll heal and come back soon. xD.

Anyway, congrats to us for open house!! I think all of us really put in a lot of effort in both our singing and in stuff like the board. Yayy i'm really proud of everyone because 1. our board was totally damn hot okay 2. our singing was totally damn pwnz okay. We've definitely grown in our singing and gel together as a choir better. =) Yay ok nice bright future for us wahahaha. Also can see that we're more confident in our performing uhh abilities? And more daring and fun-loving too. =) That's good that's good. Must grow as performers too!

Oh burst. Okay i gotta go for dinner. Anyway i've had a long day and i'm seriously tired from lack of sleep from last night LOL. Heehee. See ya all and a big thanks to everyone! =)

Hmm i don't really want to face 'reality' so i'm doing lame things like cutting my nails, playing random music, going to say hi to my sister, blogging etc. Xianz.

Choir prac today was not bad. Considering we haven't sung for 5 weeks =D. Mr Toh kept saying we were good hm but i guess from our point of uh, hearing it's sometimes difficult to hear the overall sound so can't really tell. But i think i can describe our sound as tight. Hee. Means we blend la. =)

Think i'm gonna sleep early. Though i was a pig and woke up quite late still quite tired after choir. Hmm. Tomorrow gotta go school at 8am so oops gotta wake up at 7 haha. Okehs so i should sleep by 11 which is 1 hour's time. Okay i go try to do something constructive like write my PW script. (HAHA). Goodnight! Sing well tomorrow =)

I'm in this really floaty mood now. Must be coz i just watched cinderella story. I happily decided to let my bimbotic side shine through for 2 hours and watch that spastic show haha. It's one of the better fairytale/chick flick movies. Hmm well i'm not the only one gerald told me he watched 'just my luck' =P Heehee.

Anyways. Choir tomorrow, or later today. Whichever. It's been a long time, 5 weeks since our last practice. I sincerely hope everyone is able to remember everything that we've learnt in term 3. But shouldn't be too bad la, considering um, every section (except mine) had sectionals. Oh dear. Okay we're having ours before practice. Poor bennett had like half the teeth in his mouth extracted yesterday and he could hardly open his mouth let alone sing. So that's like 1/3 section gone. So yar tomorrow before practice then. I can't be there for a large part of the prac, gotta go and do a dry run of the dry run. Heehee no choice.

Sigh okay sucks to miss choir. Like after so long don't have then gotta miss it =( Hm i love il divo's I believe in you with Celine Dion. It's super nice haha. I wish i could reach even higher than i can, to like high C or something in male voice like real tenors can. If i'm not wrong, real tenors can reach to notes like B or C. I can only reach F comfortably haha but okay i guess it's already very fortunate. At least i've low falsetto to cover for the lack of high notes.

I'm quite tired now. Lucky tomorrow morning got nothing. I think? -checks- Ok heng don't have. Ok i think i shall go sleep. Oh throat feels funny because i drank tap water. Bleh. K shouldn't do that next time, shan't be lazy and make the trip downstairs to get distilled water.
